he didnt do too bad, prob thought by then there was little chance of rescuing a point and lawrence had been struggling with a dead leg and is 1 booking away from a 2 match ban

I've probably been one of Buxtons biggest detractors and when Pulis brought him on I was shaking my head, but to be fair to the lad he had a good game, especially compared to the likes of Pugh who was awful.

Compared to Diao, Buxton was a god. At least he looked like he knew what he was doing, Diao looked like a rabbit in the headlights.

I almost threw me pint at the fucking screen when he came on and said why has pulis done that but I thought he was one of the better players on the pitch, some good passes and a good header that with a bit more power would of found the net. Hope that he has come out of his shell and will play a few more games this season, if he can improve with a few matches this might be a good little player for us, especially if it is one of the there are 25 mins go and we need someone to come in and pass, ding dong on ya go lewis.

Interesting (and pointless) fact.
Buxton has played in 3 games this season, all of which have been on SKY!
I think TP is putting him in the shop window!!
By the way, he performed very well when he came on

Yeah i was a bit confused as to why he came on but after that showing i wouldnt mind if he made a few more sub apperances.
Ive never said he was shite as i really think he is a steady player in this league but I think with our ambitions he should be sold pending we get better quality in.
I think he'd do well at somewhere like scunthorpe for example

I say he should start in place of Cort!
Cort you are the weakest link ... . .... goodbye.
Riggot I don't think will be fit enough come Burnley and I'd prefer a central pairing that have know each other for more than one week.

Drop cort? i dont think he should be dropped at all if any of the defence should be dropped it should be shawcross. As much as i like the lad he has looked a little bit shakey these past few games and i think he needs a rest and someone with a little bit more experience should be put in there.

Missed Dicko yesterday. I thought Buxton did ok, he done what he had too. Loved it when he barged that gammy looking knob Vine off the ball. Well done Bux

Riggott is a good (& @ this level really really good) defender but is quiet as a mouse.
Cort could do with a break you'd think after his injury @ PNE but Shawcross needs a break more.

Agree with you there lordb riggot will be quality for us at the back i wreckon but like you say he is abit quiet.Wilko should be put back in there and pugh should push up to mid, diao didnt really look like he was in the game much really and i think pugh is good in the mid.
