I believe that there's a conspiracy going on against stoke city at the moment.
Since we've gone top of the league, referees have gone out of their way to wreck our chances of winning games.
I believe this is because the F.A are so against us getting into the premiership as we're not a fashionable club that they're sending referees out to ruin our games.
I didn't go to the preston match but from what i heard on the radio the referee was rubbish, especially with regards to leaving Cort lying injured on the pitch.
Then yesterday, although i know we were particularly kack, even at 2-0 down there was still a chance in the second half with 11 men on the pitch that we'd turn it around. So then the referee goes and dismissed Griff for no reason what so ever. If that was a sending off then the QPR defender with dreadlocks should have been sent off also. I think the ref knew we had a chance of coming back and so he had to do something to stop us, sending off our captain after his first challange was one of the best ways of doing that. Also how he could make that sort of decision when he was no where near where the ball was being played was crazy. If you're making that kind of decision then you've got to be 110% sure that you're correct, you can't just think you know what you saw.
Then to go and allow them a clearly off side goal was just the icing on the cake for the F.A. I was watching the game on TV and the comentators said in the build up to their third goal that QPR's players were standing in an off side posistion, yet the linesman didn't see it, the ref didn't see it. It amazes me that they can get away with it.
Anyway, rant over, we must try harder next game, it is quite obvious at the moment that Diao is no where near match fit, he was terrible yesterday and our midfield we sliced open on numerous occasions. Also we've got to get some support for Riccy, he can't create and score his own chances everytime.
I think it was the Bristol City manager who said at half time on the TV that stoke were carrying 6 or 7 players yesterday who were underperforming and he was spot on, 1 or 2 we might be able to carry and get away with it but with half of the team underperforming at the moment something needs to be done to give them a bit of a kick up the ass!
Anyway, we're still 2nd and we're still in with a bloody good chance of making the top two spots, i think WBA will drop more points between now and the end of the season, and if we can keep our heads a bit more it should be down to a contest out of us, Watford and Bristol City.

No conspiracy theory - just a crap ref.
Aside of that point agree with your analysis. The lads looked sorry for themselves.
We need a quick lucky goal against Burnley on Saturday, and for Pulis to make some key changes - Diao, Pugh out - Gallagher, Wilko/Dicko in.
A seperate point to note is that we looked a million times better with Pugh and Whelan in the middle and Gallagher out wide. We actually kept possession for more than three passes!!!

No ref's conspiracy we have just played very badly, in fact if we are honest we played pretty poorly in getting to the top (Second half v Southampton and first half v Scunny) and while the griffin red card was ridiculous so was the decision not to send him off for a terrible lunging tackle away at Charlton last month. Our basic problem is that we are leaking goals all over the place and one clean sheet in 14 games is not what you expect from a Pulis side and not what will get a team promoted.
