I went down for the weekend and had a quality weekend.
Just writing my view...I iknow most wathce don the box, but you can see different opinions live than what you do on TV
Down to the game, First half we weren't at the races at all. ?It was much a similar performance to the the Preston game midweek
We derved to be 2 nil down and were lucky not to eb 3 nil down at 20minutes. only a brilliant block from Ryan shawcross kept the score at 2 nil
Who is our number 18...It certainly not the Salif diao not we all knew last seaosn, he's miles of the pace and juts doenst look interested/good enough. I don't know whats wrong with him, he was dreadful today! He's had enough time get atch fit.
Danny Pugh IS NOT a left back, so many times he was left exposed, didnt know what do with the ball so he ounted hopefull balls forward, and having Cresswell with him on the wing who again IS NOT a left winger, he had very little options and what options he did have he didnt knoww hat to do with it.
Cresswell agian was poor on the wing, he struggles to beat men snd his out of his deapth/ Cort looked knakered Shawcross, was brilli..would have liked to see wilko at CB with Shawcross Fuller looked dis interested at times. Griffen was been well and truley knoc#bed along the righthand side and him been sent off may have been a blessing in disguise...the sending off was a joke.. Griffin won EVERy bit of the ball., Sidibie was out 'heighted' and out muscled by Fitz Hall thus he was very in effective, Lawrence got very frustrated and tried really hard to brijng the game back to Stoke, Whelan again, he was quality today might have looked poor becaus he was doing both his and Slaifs jobs
Team should ahve been
Simo Dicko Wilko Shawcross Griffin Gally Whelan Salif Lawrence Sidders Fuller
Why Pulis brought Lawrence off...god only knows
At half time IMO the sub should ahve been wilko for salif Gally for Cresswell
leave fitz hall dealing with sidibie, would ahve left Gslly alot of room..
Stoke crowd were very good for a smallish following, even tohught spent the last 10minutes taking the piss out of QPR fans
ive had a few beers
