Everyone who has commented on the sending off - from commentators, independent reports and fans agree how bad the decision was.
However, the QPR official report funnily see it differently;
"Griffin was shown a straight red card for a rash two-footed lunge that just failed to connect with Ephraim's right leg".
I know that people can be biased towards their own club but surely even the most partisan supporter could see how he took the ball before any contact with their player!

spot on sidders , he had the card out before he blew the whistle , the man is a fucking disgrace to his profession . but i dont suppose he gives a fuck that loyal supporters prob spent half a wks wages supporting there team today for him to fuck up any chance of us getting a result , the way i feel about this baffoon is beyond belief he is by far the worst ref that ever walked the planet , hope he dies a nasty death !

Wouldn't surprise me if he received a back-hander from QPR. Think about it, they've got loads of money now, the decision wasn't a foul, let alone a red card, QPR were at home live on sky against top of the league opposition, and now on their official site it says that it was "a rash two-footed lunge that just failed to connect with Ephraim's right leg" when their own fan site says that it wasn't even a foul. That is the reason we lost the match! Nothing at all to do with the fact that the first half we were elsewhere and that we continue to play Pugh at LB when he isn't one and Griff at RB, and a centre forward out on the wing with Gally on the bench

It's strange how we always end up with the worst, dodgiest officials when things come to the crunch, isn't it? We got that nightmare ref against Colchester last year, the guy at Preston on Tuesday, D'Urso today, Styles against Gillingham and the crap referees we always seemed to get at the end of the seasons under Gudjon.
Not even a foul is the long and short of it.

I see crack is now part of the after match celebrations at QPR, it seems the author of that piece had indulged in everones share.
I think you'll actually find that was penned by one Andy D'Urso. seems he got his crack before the game.

Wasn't even a foul -simple as- was a perfectly timed clean taclke.
I thought the ref had blown for a foul on Griffin.
Diabolical decision as was the 3rd goal being allowed to stand.
