Must annoy supporting players when he tries to blaze a trail through 3/4 players without using his wide man.

Don't moan at fuller, he must've won about 10 corners for us today, had a good game. He does use the widemen sometimes, but when you have the ability he has,why not ?

Because as you probably saw during the second half one of our midfielders should have passed it through to him but instead chose the wrong option by squaring it left.
No wonder he tries route 1 for him-self most of the time if passes "or lack of" are anything to go by, and no wonder he was down right furious.
Fuller is a genius.

Thought Fuller had a poor game against Preston but he was our best player this afternoon. He was the only player who looked remotely like scoring and both Lawrence and Cressy had off days. To be honest once we were down to ten men I thought the only way we would score would be if Fuller managed to beat three or four men and score or win a penalty. Maybe once Gally came on there were other options and if I were TP I'd start with Gally next Saturday and gear the training accordingly.

Think this is a failing on TP's behalf he puts too much pressure on too few forwards and needs to have more players at his disposal.west Brazil are a prime eg.

Didnt have much choice in the 2nd half. Won 3-4 corners on his own and generally worked his conkers off.

its what he does best so why take the wide option when he can take players on.

Must annoy supporting players when he tries to blaze a trail through 3/4 players without using his wide man. If you were a forward would you pass to Sidibe? Riccy stands more chance of beating ten men and rounding the keeper than Sidibe does of scoring!!!!

Fuller is a class act his attitude was second to none today. Are problem today was poor defence a poor refs decision and the suspension of the most improved player this season rory delap.

When he's 30 yards ahead of team mates what else is he supposed to do? I thought he did brilliantly second half and won set plays that were our only likely route back into the game.

Despite hitting the post, i thought his first half performance was average- he kept falling over!
However, after taking his slippers off, he was tremendous second half, and also benefited from 2 beautiful through balls from Gally.
Did really well on his own, and hopefully will gain confidence and take it through to Saturday (perhaps with a new strike partner?)

Riccy was sound yesterday. He was starved of service from the wide players. Top notch Riccy...the guy is god

i cant even believe you have posted such a thread... ricardo fuller is brilliant who can blame him for trying make things happen and he certainly dus that every game i for one always think somethings goin to happen everytime he has the ball.

Ricardo Fuller yesterday looked pissed off and dis-interested at times.
You say he tries to take on 3 of 4 players instead of usaing the wide men...who was his wide men yesterday helping him out...there was Buxton and Wilko, neither are re-nowned for their crossing ability.
He yesterday more times than i have seen before opted to kick the ball against the defender retaher than take the players on...He hasnt scored for 3 games and is probably lacking a little in confidence, thats why he DIDN'T try and take 3 or 4 players on like he normally would
Normally he uses Lawrence a hyell of a lot but he got furtrated and was subbed aswell. so he didnt have that option.
Watch one game on sky and think you know everything!

Obviously you don't see the frustration on the players who are in space to receive a pass from him.

A few times today he was in a great position to lay it off and didn't. None more so that in the 2nd half when he went on a run on goal and drew 4 Burnley players to him, he had options on either side of him to put a Stoke player in on goal, but didn't and he lost the ball again. It didn't seem to be going for him today.

Actually I did see the frustration on the faces of the likes of Lawrence and Cresswell when Fuller didn't pass to them, but I would never criticise a player for attempting to score a goal for us, especially when we're losing in a critical home game.
What you see with Fuller is what you get. He's a fantastic player who has the ability to win you a game on his own. Were you moaning your sorry arse off when he single handedly won us the three points against Blackpool, West Brom and Scunthorpe?
He's done more than enough not to warrant this kind of petty criticism. Save it for the players who contribute fuck all.
