Didn't even warrant any kind of lecture whatsoever let alone a sending off.

Durso simply shouldn't referee at all, if he isn't good enough to referee a Premier League game he isn't good enough to referee a Championship game or even a Sunday League game, the laws of the game are the same at whatever level the game is played.

The worse thing about it is:
1) He was miles away
2) Grif actually got the ball. He never touched the man.
3) Mancienne got a yellow for tackling cresswell from behind
4) rowlands tackled fuller from behind in the 2nd half, a cynical foul and he never even booked him.
The red card just killed us. I would liked to have seen us come out 2nd half will 11 as I feel we would have had a right go.

To get things into perspective - it wasn't even a tackle. Griffin lunged at the ball with the QPR player a full yard away. He won the ball cleanly & the QPR player fell over him as he tried to get up with the ball. Look where D'Urso is - miles away so he couldn't have had a clear view of it therefore by the old adage for referees (which I was ) - you only give what you see - he could not possibly send Griffin off. It was one of the poorest decisions I have ever seen. The man is a fool and this isn't the first time his competence has been brought into question. It's about time the football league cut him adrift if they don't want to look like fools every time he takes the pitch.

totally agree tazi. The people who run and ref the games dont look like they have ever played the game themselves. Im gonna start watching rigby where at least men still act like men. Pathetic reffing today

We have to take the rough with the smooth, didn't go today and not seen it on TV but did go to Charlton away where Griffin was very lucky not to get a red card for a dreadful lunging tackle.

They probably wont over-turn it, purely because we are Stoke If the same thing happened to someone like West Brazil, it would be front page news.

The fact that it was on live TV and everyone, to a man, said what an embarrassingly poor decision it was, should help our cause a lot.

And rowlands tackle on Fuller when racing towards their area was in the second half after no doubt looking at his fuck up of a decision on tele at half time. You would have thought he would at least booked Rowlands to give us a 'token' gesture of him being able to get something right.
Makes me look more and more to the corrupt Italian backhanders that will enter our game when QPR spend more and more!

Absolutely no chance of getting it rescinded. D'urso will argue that Griffin jumped in with two feet and was not in control, which currently is a sending off offence. Lack of contact means nothing and the FA (nearly) always back the ref.

i have never been so enraged by a descision by a ref in my entire life, then when you throw in a few other balls up by the inept git in the green, if he doesnt get some kind of punishment, let alone taking griff's red back, then i will give up on football full stop. I was watching the game on sky with my family who know enough about football to know whats a good and bad descision. Even the mother in law who finds it amusing when i complain about how we are usually screwed by a ref commented that she was convinced that ref was being paid off from the constant shit descisions. I believe on the face of it QPR won fair and square, but how we would have responded if the ref was playing fair i believe would have been rather different, so in essence, the ref could have cost us the match.

What was bad, if not worse, was that there were two assistant refs (cough) and a fourth official. What were they doing? Surely between them they could have told D'Urso that he'd made himself look like a bell-end on TV and not send Griffin off.
Assistant refs and the 4th official. Just what is the point of them if they don't assist the ref? Or are they just there to run off their 2 for 1 burgers that they look like they eat.
