get yourself up blue mugge landlords a shitfan but a great pub ask for kenny the truth entertainment all afternoon Is Harry still running the Mugge? I assume he is. My auntie & uncle look after the pub when him and Shelley go on holiday. Janet & Roy, dont think they work in the pub, just make sure its locked up and so on. The Blue Mugge is a truely wonderful boozer. I left Werrington (although all family are from Leek) in 1988 and dive in for a pint whenever I can. Is Patch still getting in? He used to go United with Harry. Also Eggy, Den Den and Dillon? Ive never found anywhere like the Mugge in any other part of the UK, and believe me Ive tried enough .....

I played with them both at K Chell and Blue Mugge...They are both great lads, Reg Barnsley is a legend! His teams could certainly mix it up!

Leek is a great place to drink in and a great place to be a stokie. Try the Earl Grey on Ashbourne Road,it's not very big

I remember years ago when we played at the old vic some of the matches in the Promotion season they let Stokies use the Stoke end and there used to be a big banner with Leek Stokies on it. Always remember that as much as the Stoke - on - Trent Clarets one.

Try the Dyers ma' mate. Decent ale, good food, plenty of telly's and the landlord (Kevin Lewis) is a ex Stoke pro with plenty of tales to tell! What more could you want!

Any of you Leek boys know Tim Evans?[/quote Is he the golfer whose dad and mum kept the chippe on Stockwell Street? Go to the Dyers and watch the match with Keven Lewis,I presume he hasnt retired yet. I am a Leek lad born and bred, strong in the arm and weak in the head. I was born on Cannibal Island at the beggining of the war. Come on Stoke.

Dyers not a bad little pub but we played them once and this bloke who plays for them came out dressed as a ref ,at first we thought it a joke and it was, the joke was on us as he was a facking cheat booking me for calling a bloke an idiot after he had told me what for in x rated speach, when i asked him why he did not book his player he replyed i did not hear him only you, tosser and i scored and the keeper dragged the ball back over the line leaving a massive crater in the pitch which he watched and played on im not bitter though i still drink stella

Tim wasn't the Golfer that was his Brother Duncan. Tim played rugger for Leek, top bloke and have lost touch recently.
