Was just looking on sky sports page and put 2 and 2 and came up with this. Seems viable that this could have been our striker to kick the guys up the arse, but as you may read prob.would'nt get work permit due to lack of games. How does that work, work permit to play for wigan, but not for loan club. Wigan boss Steve Bruce has been forced to shelve plans to send Julius Aghahowa out on loan.
The Nigeria striker has struggled to make an impact at The JJB Stadium following his £2million move from Shakhtar Donetsk in January last year.
A number of Championship clubs were monitoring his situation with Bruce keen for the forward to get more action under his belt.
But Aghahowa's lack of games at Wigan mean that it is unlikely he would be granted a work permit elsewhere.
Bruce said: "It's a nightmare. It would be ideal if he could go out somewhere and get used to playing in England." P.s. Hello by the way,i'm new to posting on here ! Pps. I live in kingston(darn sarf) and just saw a 4x4 in car park with loads of stoke penants and scarves in,so had to leave a be loyal,be proud,Be STOKE message under windscreen wiper(on paper not just etched into windscreen, obviously !!)
Goooooo AAARRRRRRNNNNN STOKE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D

As much as I hate how many foreigners have been allowed into our country to work (or even worse to not work) It really pisses me off with these daft rules that the goverment make up. You've got a lad getting paid for doing fuck all, He's contracted for probably another year or 2 yet he can't go and play for another club for a few months because he has to have a brand new work permit! ??? Why? He's still contracted to his original club.

Good shout Welloiled.
Fits the "premier" and "not getting games" bill(s) anyway.
Not so sure personally, think he might be the wrong side of the cow's arris with a banjo argument this one?
But stand to be corrected by Wigan watchers.

I would love to see him here. Seems as though Palace are front-runners for him though (if they can get through the international barriers)

I remember all the so-called 'experts' were tipping him to be one of the greats around the time of the World Cup in Japan.
Hasn't happened for him though, has it?

Moved here from overseas 2 and a half years ago. Got married and all that. Love it here. Live on Richmond park road near to the park. Not sure where Villiers road is as not to familiar with the area still.
Not my 4 x 4, dont need a car, work in the centre near the Bentalls. Must be another Stokie around, where was the car parked.
