We apparently had a deal sealed last friday but delayed it cause of the playoff date uncertainity. A week later and nothings happened.
Further to that, two of those linked.......Zamora in west hams squad for the weekend and Sinclair gone Charlton?
Any1 know whats going on??

Plus clubs dont to let their players go by the looks of it. Losing out on Sinclair was a blow, thought we had him in the bag. All the promise with 'Harewood" then him coming good at Villa was in all no surprise. Im sure TP has an ace up his sleeve though however and will always keep the faith....loan signings will happen somewhen!

What promise with Harewood, it was just speculation surely. Same for Sinclair

The Sentinel did seem to hint we had Fulop + A.N Other tied-up this time last week. I suppose the 2nd one must have hit a snag at the last minute?
And so we're still left with Pulis publicly saying he wants 3 more loans - a keeper and 2 others "to give everyone a lift" At least the press seem to be indicating Nash will turn up some time today.

there is still a while before the emergency loan date expires though isn't there? perhaps he's biding his time and trying to bring someone in, he should do with impending bans for bookings etc. i can't personally see us going until april 13th without picking up some damaging bookings.

Banbury: I agree as it is highly likely: Fuller, Lawrence and Shawcross are going to miss 2 games before the season is out!

As it stands, maybe Gally would be the best bet to fill in for Lawrence when his 2-game ban pops up?
I just hope Fuller's not banned for the same games - as he'd be the best bet covering for him too!
Maybe we'll have this much-touted new impact loanee by then?

Stoke were very very confident Sinclair was coming in

I imagine Fulop will still come to Stoke, eventually because I think he figures in Tonys long term plans looking forward to next year poss in the prem. I agree with Fullermagic TP will bring in a couple of 'unknown to us ' loan signings to drive the push on promotion. I cant believe for one minute that TP, Coates, Scholes will let this fantastic position were in slip. we've all had a 'teasing taste' of the top flight with our recent game with Newcastle and our little media frenzy being currently top. This is our time, trust tony boys, the players will arrive!!!

What promise with Harewood, it was just speculation surely. Same for Sinclair There was never any concrete promise with Harewood u2oxeterstokie, it just seemed great news at the time and I was quietly confident there was some truth in the rumour.

I understood that the Harewwod rumour was for real, but at the time depended on Jermaine Defoe going from Spurs to Villa. Defoe apparently trained with Villa, but the move didn't come off.
Harewood made a couple of sub appearances for Villa and did really well, and maybe came back into favour with MO'N. A bit unlucky really, because if it had of worked out, he would have been like Mama with bells on, and plenty of goals too.

as long as we don't get unlucky with suspensions at the same time we have enough cover
Shawcross/Cort - Dicko/Matteo Lawrence - Gallagher Fuller - Gallagher
Major concern for me is a simmo injury or suspension, any injury over a couple of games and our season could go up in smoke

Major concern for me is a simmo injury or suspension, any injury over a couple of games and our season could go up in smoke Matt www.whydelilah.co.uk/home.aspxIt does finally look like Nash will sign, and to be honest, I thought that Danzelle St Louis whatshisname looked quite good for the reserves "I think we've done the deal now," said manager Tony Pulis. "I'm pleased to have him on board because he's not just cover, I see him as someone to put Steve (Simonsen) under pressure.
"We were disappointed when Sunderland recalled Marton Fulop because he will be a very good keeper, but Carlo ain't bad.
"Fingers crossed, he will get straight in with the lads and they will make him feel part of it straight away.
"I spoke to Steve Bruce at Wigan about a week back and mentioned Fulop, but he said if anything went wrong he would help me out and he's been true to his word."
