Just to make people aware, you may want to delete it after each visit to ensure whichever company it is aren't tracking your internet usage.
P.S Admin, this is in no way intended to damage this board's reputation - clearly this is to do with proboards and not yourselves, just wanted to make people aware of the fact.

Tracking cookies in essence are not dangerous, they are usually just used by marketing companies to track your internet usage to see what type of websites you look at, and in turn provide you with offers based on the information they gather. They can at times be used to then send programs which create popups to sites similar to the ones you visit regularly.
Personally, i don't want anything on my PC without my permission though.

I do use firefox.
It doesn't prevent tracking cookies being planted on your machine though.

Firefox isn't just as bad. I can add sites to block list and download a cookie manager. Try addons.mozilla.com
