Starting with 1974-75 season
First game of the season, after we had finished 8th and Stoke had finished 5th the previous season.
4,600 seats were installed in the paddock replacing the standing area. This came after the minister of Sport had appealled to all football cl;ubs to improve safety.New toilets were installed during the summer throughout the stadium. It was also the first season where the school end was allocated for the away supporters.
Tickets varied from 90pence to a £1 A man's home shirt was £3.70 and a away shirt £3.30 you could also buy an olympic vest from the club shop for £1.10 The train to Luton the following weeks cheap day return was 88p
The QPR team that day 24th August was
Parkes, Clement, Gillard, Venables, Mancini, Webb, Francis, Beck, Thomas, Abbott, Givens.
75-76 Season We played them in November 1975 and who would guess what happen the rest of that season. We were 2nd at that time, 1 point behind Derby COunty.
A letter that day to Mr Dave Sexton appeared in the programme. "My mum won't let me come down to rangers because she thinks there is a lot of violence at the ground. She thinks all fans are a bunch of wild animals".

Dave Thomas was pictured in his England strip. And we ran on the pitch with Gola Track Tops.
That game saw Peter Shilton in goal for Stoke and both Alan Hudson and Jimmy Greenoff played.
