Suppose lot's of you saw it last night, so it's probably been posted elsewhere, wheel and all that, but I liked his gesture of running half way dow the field to strip his short off and throw it to someone-I think they were in a wheelchair. Love that lad, pure Stoke through and through, and for my money he should get regular starts. Not the finished article yet, but what he lacks in finesse he more than makes up for in enmthusiasm. A Mike Pejic in the making. Now that would be worth seeing again!

Come on lancer, just what did he strip off - his 'short', shirt' or 'shorts' ?
;D
Agree with the sentiment though, like him a lot!

Fella I sat next to against IPSWICH kept calling Dicko, Patto. Now I know they look similar but I could swear Patto now plays for Iron nowadays.

Dicko, Wilko, if you were there, you know who I mean, even if I don't! I confuse them all the time. And yes, I did mean his shirt...hope that was all he stripped off, the tinker!

When that bloke who was getting all the autographs was talking to Wilko, he asked him if the lad on the frontrow could have his shirt at the end of the match, and he was happy to oblige

If managed properly over the next couple of years I can see Wilkinson becoming a quality right back for any mid table or above premiership team, lets hope thats us!

like how they always stay out the longest after a game to acknowledge the crowd after games, win lose or draw

Dicko AND Wilko are different class. Come through the ranks and Stoke City through and through. Anyone at Ipswich game saw how much it meant to Dicko after as well- he couldn't help himself. He's like one of us!

I remember when Doobs did the self same thing last season @ Deepdale.
Then of course we all realised after it was more or less a good bye as he was soon off to Reading.
I hope no such fate (to sit on the bench) awaits Wilko or Dicko in the Prem. Albeit they might have to sit on ours for a little while longer yet.
Good lads and Stokies through & through the pair of them.

It was Wilko he gave his shirt to little Woody. He travels to all the away games with us from the Red House and it made his night. Would like to say a huge THANKS to WILKO it was a superb touch.

How much longer do their (Wilko & Dicko) contracts last for? These are the sorts of players we should be getting on extended contracts as they seem as though they could be good loyal servants for us. Only if we become much much better than we expect would they not be useful.
