The game demonstrated clearly why its so important not to give goals away.
In recent games we've generally been slack at the back but scored enough goals to win. Thats hardly going to help us to really push on at the top. An unsoiled sheet quite simply means that if things don't work out attacking wise (as they didn't for us at PNE) there's something positive to fall back on. Defeat will be avoided. This morning, whatever else, the odds were stacked against us because of dopey defending. It must improve or the recent momentum will be lost.
We are having a great season....the best for many years. If our progress is to lead to the ultimate aim this goal conceding must stop. Its a tight mad division and PNE proved that on their day anyone can beat ayone else. Attention to detail will be vital.
