Before you all start,
I know hes been one of our best players this seaosn and without him, we would have been struggling. and I know its only one game and we have got to lose one sometime.
But does he really need to keep trying score spectacular goals....on more than one occasion tonight he took one or 2 touches too many in the box may I add and messed up goal scoring opputtunities...The most crucial was when Delap squared the ball to him.
Last year I slated him for this, but I thought he put it behind him.
As top of the league and scoring great goals gone to his head?

Learn from it move on to Sunday, thats the only thing h can do. I am sure the players will get a rocket from Tone for spurned opportunities and 1 or 2 may even get a hint that any more below average starts to a game may result in a spell on the sidlines so I hope that we approach Sundays game in that manner I know we are capable of. GOOAAAARNN STOKE.

He has got to be careful not to lose his head and start 'believing all the hype' about himself. Only in the last week he's been named as the best player in the league and had a feature on himself on The Championship. I'm confident TP will keep him on the straight and narrow though and he'll be back to his best on Sunday!
