It's easy to blame the rederee for tonights performance. He was utter wank. I would like to know how many of out players got booked. He only booked one of their players when he so easily could have book 6 or 7 more. The one booking for their player was a certain booking, and there was no way that he could not caution him but he booked Stoke players, Shawcross one of them and not book a preston player for exactly the same challenge.
But anyway.
Back to the chances. On another night Fuller would have bagged a hatrick...3 one on one's one he got tackled. one good save from keeper and other he was stuck in 2 minds wether to shoot or square to Gally, ended up messing up Cort missed 2 free headers wgich he would ahve normally got on target Sidibies Volley he had time to bring the ball down and have a wank, but maybe hye knew his first touch isnt up 2 it so decided with the volley Last but not least...Delap and Lawrences calamity...Why didnt delap bost back of the net instead of passing to Lawrence..Then Lawrence took one to many touches
The game could have been so different if we had taken our chances

Sidibe's was very poor (again ) how many times do we have to see him not even test the keepr from 8 yards out, not good enough striker for a team wanting to win the league title at this level.

Last night revealed the true danger of a Mamma who simply doesn't score. When other players have an off night (which they're entitled to do) he doesn't ante-up and save the day. He missed a first half header at the far ost, volleyed over with a great chance and then, after Lawrence had missed his sitter it was Mamma who followed up for tehr ebound, scuffing a shot that was actually heading well wide before Lawrence kept it in play. You need strikers to deliver their share from time to time but Mamma will never do that for us.

Lack of firepower is a serious issue. A goalscorer alongside Fuller and we'd be in a far more comfortable position. Mama's misses are simply unforgivable but they seem to be accepted by many - week in, week out. One goal in 30 odd games says it all. Yes he wins the ball from punts forward and put himself about but some of his play is laughable.
Gallagher and Fuller is surely worth a go? We definitely need another approach to play.
When we are leaking silly goals every game, (we were lucky on Saturday not to) it is even more crucial.
Many will say this is just moaning and we are top but I just don't want to see all our hard work go to waste when the issues that might cause this to happen are not beyond the realms of correcting. Especially when there is so much other good stuff about us.

Smudge is this a new type of football FFS,(bad night which they are entitled to do) never heard such rubbish in my life, they are a privileged people with a nice job,no room for almost all of the team to have a "bad night"

tony, an off night? Sidibe's got 1 goal all season. The basics of coaching a striker is accuracy not power, get it on target and make the keeper work and pick up any rebounds. The people in the stand got some heading practice again

I never saw you ripping into John Eustace and his privileged lifestyle whenever he had a bad game! And I think that ends that little debate!

Lack of goals from forwards cost us a play off place last season. Let's hope it doesn't cost us again.
No matter what he brings to the team Sidibe does not whey in with enough goals. 1 for the season is embarrassing.
