Ankle injury! Hoping not a broken ankle

Twisted ankle = 2 weeks
strained ligaments - 3/4 weeks
torn ligaments - 3 months
Broken ankle - 6 months

No way he will be out for only 3 months if he has torn his ligaments. at least double that. It is a worse injury than a clean break. I tore the ligaments in my ankle last July, received Physiotherapy all the way and had an intensive exercise program and still only just have the strength to run gently on it. Hope to God Cort has not done this.

Macko is right, I did the same thing playing cricket one June and it took til Xmas to get the full use of the ankle back again, even with ultrasound and physio. :-( Important tip, dont try and field the ball on the boundary by stopping it with your foot when running at top speed!

heard on radio stoke earlier on the sport bullitin that cort walked away on his own last night and is having scans first thing. Not as bad as first feared.
