Would this twat have been allowed in the Premier - no, not even a non event such as , say, Blackburn v Wigan !!!
But its OK for him to ref a game where promotion to Premier (and relegation out of the Championship) is at stake !!!!!
Shocking

In a so called professional game, no participant should be allowed a crack at a higher level until they were fully proven at the level below and even then all eyes would be on them to see how they faired. Would any Manager at our level take a player on who had no experience of league football previously? - the answer is obviously no!
If football wants to improve its image and move on into the media-frenzied future then it has to pull it's socks up and have a professional approach at all levels, especially the officials who call the shots during a game as in the end they can make or break a teams future.
