Spotted this little gem on the Message Boards!!!! Good job we haven't gone for a similar approach every time one of our players has been red carded this season! The club would be bankrupt by now BRADFORD FANS REFUND Bradford fans who made the trip to Gillingham last Saturday will be refunded their entrance fee - out of keeper Alan Combe's wages. Combe was sent off on the stroke of half-time during the 1-0 defeat at Priestfield following an unsightly altercation with referee David Crick. City officials were so incensed by Combe's actions they have fined him two weeks' wages, which will go towards reimbursing the £16 entrance admission fee for the 119 fans who made the long trip to Kent. "The fans were the bedrock of the club's struggling support," managing director Shaun Harvey told the club's official website www.bradfordcityfc.co.uk. "Alan Combe's sending-off had a significant effect on the chances of City picking up points on the trip. "This is a one-off and should not be seen as a specific gesture that will be repeated on every occasion a Bradford player is sent off in the future." The Bantams shot-stopper will also serve a three-match ban and faces the possibility of further action from the Football Association.

119 fans, and that's without a True Supporters Card.
Would they be refunding the fans if 4,000 had made the trip
