We have been gagging to be in this position for years and now we are here.
Getting into this position brings with it limelight and boy are we under the spotlight now. Have you seen Sky Sports today? Excellent coverage they were practically camped at the stadium all day.
In the past I think Stoke teams would have crumbled under the intensity of it all, but I am going to stick my neck on the block here and say I believe we will get some kind of result tonight.
Why? This team is nothing if not confident and is showing the type of borderline cocky confidence that a good side brings with it naturally. The like of Liam Lawrence and Ryan Shawcross ooze confidence and players like Fuller don't seem to suffer from pressure, they just perform on the day either well or average, but if average its not due to pressure more so they just aren't up for it on the day.
The only thing I think can let us down is being too cocky and confident which would generally come from players like Shawcross. He could still make a big inexperienced like mistake but even then, I think Pulis is the sort of manager who could prevent that.
I don't have a bad feeling about tonight, I think tonight we could show ourselves to be finally ready.
