Had some brilliant days out during the Macari era, although i was more of a fan then,so Lou for me.

Lou but only just. Lou had no money to work with and i think that when Tone was in the same position and didnt have much lou's football was better to watch. Very simular managers tho

I was a big fan of Lou but it was a different era. What I do find strange is a lot of the people who criticise TP for the style of football were fans of Lou, but we played more long ball under Lou than we do TP, the full backs were always looking for the ball over the top for pacy strikers playing off the shoulder of the last defender.

I suppose the answer is in bold in your message Ian. Whether right or wrong we had some great partnerships in the past, which always seems a little more exciting. I think if Tone changed tack and played a front two, even more would fall on his side. HOWEVER - its working OK at the moment, so I wouldn't want to see it change.
