I don't think we will no. I sure as hell don't feel safe though. I dont think I ever will for as long as we stay in the Prem untill we hit those magic numbers.

No, but I wouldn't be overly gutted if we ended up lower down the table than last year.

I think 36 points plus good goal difference will suffice. But, it is the lack of goals that is worrying. When a defence, no matter how good, knows if it concedes a single goal it means certain defeat that defence gets the jitters.

None of the teams at the bottom are getting truely bummed and until we are into the mid 30s I won't be getting too complacent. Still struggling to identify which three I think will go down but for all the problems of late with lack of goals, the naked headbutt and such I still think even without strengthening in Jan and if we lose Beattie, there should still be 3 teams worse than us.

There is a chance - a lot will depend on the following:-
Pompey finances Wolves not finding their scoring boots Burnely shaking off their away form and holding on to their home form Bolton affording new players or new manager WHU buy out
From our end Sorting out Tuncay role A new striker Fuller/Tuncay/Beattie? finding scoring boots Liam to play a lot more Whitehead (yes him) to be let out of cage for box to box Keeping Matty fit

I won't feel comfortable until I see a bigger points gap between us and the team third from bottom. Seven points is not comfortable, especially when we have Villa and Man City away after Wigan.
