With all the hype at the moment i was just thinking if Coatsey has been forgiven for his past demeanours or his he still abhored by most.Myself i can never forgive him for the way i felt when pesch went and many other major disapointments .But that is in the past and tonight is the most important issue at the moment.cmon STOKE.just curious to the feeling of the fans and if people still stay away because of him

For me he's well on the way to being forgiven, and of course I'm delighted with everything he's done this season, but there's still a long way to go after the deep shit of the past. I respect him now, which I never did before, but not sure I'll ever entirely trust him.

If he walked into the Red lion on Greenway Rd ...I would probably bow ...and then buy him a pint.

I'm still not 100% converted - he's spending money which has come in from transfers on players and his own cash on capital assets like the ground.
I think to be truly convinced he'd have to spend some of that money he's earned out of SCFC on a really exciting, "big-name" player or two and that money should be from his own pocket not a loan that goes on the club's balance sheet.

I'm still not sure, some bits like transfers have been balanced with outgoings, but how has the debt been handled? I remember 96 deadline day and the pesch cheap price sell off, leicester brought gary parker and he scored the play off winner against us, that was a massive opportunity he blew for a quick buck hopefully he's learnt his lesson and has changed his spots

His last tenure was in the past.
No faults since his return.
