get 4 better results than us.
Same can be said For Plymouth Charlton etc as they will need to get 5 better results than us
If we win tonight be go 10 points clear of West Brom and 12 clear of plymouth, charlton
That will mean with just 11 (12) games left the teams below us will need to get 4 or 5 better results than we do to knock us out of automatc spots.
Looking at it this way, it's hard not to get excited
You might have noticed I've not included Watford or Bristol.
I think Walford will be first or second, depending where we finnish and Bristol will fallaway, in the sense of they wont create a top charge IMO

we have been waiting for bristol to fall away for a while now, and im starting to think its not going to happen. they keep grinding out results.
i think its time we all started to take bristol city a little more seriously

Personally I think it's almost arrogant of us to suggest that Bristol City will fall away. They made us look a right set of chimps at their place, granted we have bolstered the squad since, but there is no real reason to suggest that they are more likely to fall away than us, they are only a point behind us lest we forget. And if Fuller gets his impending ban, which will almost certainly happen , we should be concentrating on our game and not hoping others fall as it may not happen.

Talk sport this morning had their betting 'expert' on and he said their current odds are on a Watford top, West brom 2nd, Stoke 3rd, finish to the season !!!! It makes me laugh, any other sport they study form, that finish they're predicting is completely against the current form

Lets not get too cocky. Just 3 weeks ago the Baggies were talking about who was going up with them. The're looking a bit silly now arn't they. I'm quietly confident that we'll gain automatic promotion however I'n not going to start shouting it from the roof tops just yet. 3 bad results could see us sitting in the playoffs again. A good acheivement in itself but lets just hope we can stay in the top two for a little while longer. COME ON STOKE

Menorcasi, lets just hope we can stay in the top two for a little while longer, you mean until the end of the season right?! Lets be positive, so what if we fall away. I've never experienced us sooo close to doing it! As for taking Bristol City serious I think we should definately do so, they are in a similar boat as us in that they are unwisely not being taken seriously. I would love for us and Bristol City to be promoted, what a year in Championship football that would be!

Why do people still think Bristol City will fall away? Everyone has been saying that for the whole season and has it happened? Has it fuck! So why will they now?

nonameface, I'd be happy for the next 12 games. I think that would constitute a short while.

I think the defining moment will be when we play Bristol, We need to be fully aware of their late goal tally its frightening how they get goals in the last 15 mins.

i actually see watford falling away and having to go through the playoffs. Bristol city are not under any sort of pressure and it shows in their results, i am sure that all brizzle fans would have settled for consolidation at the start of the season, as we would have wanted a playoff place. the pressure on watford to go up is greater than ours i believe, and to that end i see us and bristol going up automatically, and won't that be a shock in the football world!!!
