It's blowing a gale and it's pouring down at the moment. Just like the Brit in other words. As this is my home fixture (just down the road) and having to put up with Preston's relative success over the past few years - this is such a great opportunity for us. In fairness most PNE supporters I know respect and fear us, and they still can't get over how we blew a 2-0 lead away at Deepdale last season - neither can I. Now is the time for confidence and to put our foot on the throat so to speak. Will be in the Tom Finney Stand with a group of Stokie exiles so we expect to hear some rousing Delilah's from the Bill Shankly Stand - before, during and hopefully after the match. A very late evening from Calgary, just too excited to get my head down, had to have a couple of beers to get me ready for bed. Friday was awake all night. Give em hell from the Tom Finney Stand if you can, they are right to fear us, we are without a doubt the most dangerous team in this league which is amazing considering we are a bunch of brain dead muscular hoofers ;D

Shall be listening in at 2-45am. One good omen- all the games I've listened too this season we have won. If there's a Stoke fan already in the ground is probably StokieSam- can you say Hi and sorry about winding (no joke intended) him up yesterday. A 10 point lead over 4th place despite games in hand is an enormous lead at this stage of the season. Especially when the fixtures are still likely to pile up further. Could be 1 down- 1 from 2 to go ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Please just this once God, Allah, Buddha, Lizard people.......whoever. Hope not missed someone out.

Update - it's 8.45am and now it's sunny at the ground. Just had a call asking me to get two more tickets, but the ticket office doesn't open until 9.00am. Need to arrange a convenient detour from work this morning methinks. Goooaaaarrrrnnnnnnnnnnnnstoke

Say you have chronic diarrhoea and don't want to make the work toilets smell rank. No one will think anything if you run to your car then and speed off to Deepdale.
Come back walking like Charlie Chaplin just in case

Hi PrestonStokie. Coming up early with my lad and couple of mates. Going to take the footy museum in. Can you recommend a pub near the ground. Cheers.

Sorry - only just logged on again. I would suggest the Sumner's Arms which is just on the rise towards the Garrison Arms and above Sainsbury's. I wouldn't wear your colours though.
