We are a premiership club now ,i hope the Stoke fans make the effort for this game.
It willbe a cupfinal for them and woukld expect them to bring 3000 if not more.

What's the percentage that teams must give to away fans? I thought it was about 15% of the capacity, so they could get the whole of the south stand. Could be a cracking atmosphere, well for them anyhow.

Havent been to a cup match since Derby. Much as I want to go, I'm a bad omen at cup games.

dont think the crowd will embarrass, a lot will turn up just to see a rare tony pulis goal fest, the result might though. ![:-X](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/84w9NwSsj6YY9VWeECaY.gif) given our record of losing to lower division based teams and them being well up for it, i have a bad feeling about this one.

It'll be like the Derby League Cup game last year, I imagine. Ground full of kids singing Delilah every 2 minutes but in really high pitched voices, away fans doing a pretty good job.

Certainly is our cup final, and we've always had a strong away support, so I'd say more than 3,000 is a cert. Not sure we'll sell out your away stand, however - as the glory hunters who'll be latching on to this game, and not league games, will be the types who would only go if it was someone like Man U etc. But we don't need those muppets as I'd rather have 3,000 singing their hearts out, than 5,000 "which one is Brodie?" types ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/0m0lbCuTEBzaRn6f8QaM.gif)

It will be good to see how many true fans compared to gvlory hunters we have.
As it is a weekend the excuses about evening mid week game wont apply.
I hope it is a full house particularly as there will be another break in fixtures coming up around this time too.

I guess York will be a similar standard to Kettering since they are adjacent to them in the league table.
I saw the Kettering 1 Leeds 1 game on the telly at the weekend and bravely though Kettering played it would be a major shock if we lost to a team of that quality.
I'm not saying it won't happen though, just that it shouldn't !
BTW yorkcityfc77 your post above did make me laugh !

One imagine's some sort of ticket offer to swell the ranks We can only do a ticket offer if York agree and to be honest it desn't really make financial sense for them. I would expect around 13 or 14 k and paying full price makes more sense than say 20 odd thousand at reduced prices.

Talking to some Barrow fans and the Min charge for the 3rd round is £15 adults for this round.
