Difficult question. Early Simpsons up until about series 9, but then it became stale and they changed the chief writer to the woefully unfunny Ian Maxtone Graham, who attempted to revamp it by copying the random, more "cartoony" style of Family Guy. The Simpsonbs was so good to start off with because it was such a "realistic" cartoon, and was like animated real-life, and by becoming more cartoonish it fails drastically. I voted Family Guy even though it has become a bit repetitive as of late and the writing's not that good, it still manages to make me laugh out loud more than the Simpsons these days. South Park pisses on both of them though and is a cut above everything else. Futurama's unfortunately very underrated although you have to "get it" if that makes sense, keep an eye out for a show called "Drawn Together" which is very good as well. Another of my favourites is BBC's Monkey Dust, although you have to be a little bit sick in the head to find that funny.

Futurama is ace, but I can't seem to find the new 'Bender's Big Score' DVD anywhere?
The Simpsons peaked around series 9ish in my opinion. The best ever episode has to be the Hank Scorpio one. Lately they've just been downright poor and obsessed with filling episodes with as many people as possible. When I first saw Family Guy a year or so ago I was laughing out loud at it all the time, not so much now, but I'd take new Family Guy over new Simpsons.

I am the only man in Britain who didn't like The Office and doesn't think that Ricky Gervais is funny (apparently).

Not a fan of the Office but Extras is superb. Maybe cause I'm one of them Drama types and can relate to it more.

Family Guy is not making me laugh as much now but I still went for it!
The Simpsons has definitley got very cartoony now as Homer seems to have a different job every week!

As already stated many times, how ever funny the simpsons was, its had its day.
Family guy IS funny, but it could be written by anyone
Matt Greoning in my opinion should have put more effort into futurama over the simpsons, so much potential
south park is better then all of them, 11 series in and its still fresh and rediculously funny. eric cartman is the greatest cartoon charecter ever created
