a very nice man.
Following up on yesterdays thread where he took a pasting I thought I'd let you know my own recent experience of this man.
I took Bjarne(Aarborg Stokie) over to Vale Park to show him where the local oposition? play.We went into reception and asked if it was possible to look at the ground. The very nice lady came out with no other than Bill Bratt. Now we were both completely honest with him and within the opening exchanges he knew that we were Stokies and Bjanne was over to watch the Wolves and Southampton games. He could at that point have opened the door, shown us the pitch and seen us off through the front door.Instead he spent half an hour talking football with anecdotes about both Vale and Stoke City. The man was passionate about his team and his city and,in the company of a foreign visitor, made me proud to come from the potteries.
So sorry to bring you all a positive story from the Vale.
