Taken from the sunday telegraph sports page, although a decent unbiased match report the journo spoils it all by adding at the very end - His team (Ipswich) rarely looked like regaining parity apart from a powerful strike from Velice Sumulikoski, which was palmed away by Steve Simonsen with a quarter of an hour to go, and Stoke, who were last in the top flight in 1985, held on to add further momentum to their unlikely charge for promotion.
'Unlikely' charge for promotion, how is our promotion chances any less unlikely than any other teamin the division !!!

now if he had wrote that at the beginnimg of the season we would all agree,
just goes to show how we have crept very surrepticiously up to the top of the league

We weren't expected to challenge for promotion.
I'd call it an unlikely charge and all the more appreciated because of it.

It is quite unlikely, not over the past few weeks, but earlier in the season no one expected this. Come on, stop getting so defensive!
