Putting aside his indifferent approach to football management. Does anyone else wonder how this guy ever got a job talking about football? I'd hazard a guess that he knows less than half the people on this board. ;D His editorial on Sky sports is really lazy - does he actually write it? It always seems to be written on the back of an obvious event or trend. Currently he's rattling on about Crystal Palace and their good form - just as Sloth from the Goonies wins manager of the month. ???

I don't mind his TV work so much. I think the reason he does so well though is that he seems to have lots of genuine mates in good jobs in the game.

I'd hazard a guess that he knows less than half the people on this board. ;D What does it matter if he doesn't know Smudge, JR, Rex etc.... I don't mind the guy actually, I'd rather have someone who makes the odd balls-up than someone who is straight down the middle. Never forget when he said that "Michael Chopra has a bright future in football DESPITE the fact that he's half asian", hilarious Also when a player missed a sitter he described it as "a meat and two veg chance" instead of a "bread and butter chance". Classic!!! ;D

Always liked him as a player. Love his sense of humour and TV work. Crap as a manager.
