Andreas Beck from Hoffenheim? As with most foreign footballers, I'm going purely on what I've heard rather than seen though. He was linked with Newcastle back in March for just £1.5m, with Napoli also supposedly interested. Looks like we have missed out on another one. Potters miss out on versatile targetStoke, Latest news update: 1 hour 20 minutes agoViews: 339 Stoke appear to have missed out on Evian winger Daniel Wass as reports in Spain claim he is on the verge of joining Celta Vigo. The Potters are thought to have been tracking the Denmark international for some time but it looks as if they are destined for failure in the battle for Wass' signature. Faro de Vigo are reporting that a 2.9million euros deal is in place for Wass to join the La Liga side and they say the 26-year-old has also agreed personal terms with Celta. Wass usually operates as a right-back, although he can also play on the wing, and Potters boss Mark Hughes will have to turn his attentions to other full-back targets after missing out on the Dane. - See more at: www.clubcall.com/stoke-city/potters-miss-out-on-versatile-target-1772655.html#sthash.txEiVq9l.dpuf

Stoke's hopes of signing Ukrainian winger Yehven Konoplyanka have received a blow after Galatasary joined the race for the Dnipro star Do they stand a chance? No, the have offered half the wage we have, and even tax differences won't cover that shortfall in pay Looks like he has turned them down 3 times. www.newsnow.co.uk/A/778763358?-3291:1135:0

Just to add to other reports.this from Espana football site. Tuesday June 16 2015 Konoplyanka: England my priority By Football Espana staff Sevilla target Yevhen Konoplyanka has poured cold water on talk of a move to Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan as his heart is set on the Premier League. Los Rojiblancos had been linked with the Ukraine international, currently at Dnipro, and President Jose Castro publically confirmed his club’s interest. But AS reports an interview with Konoplyanka in which he makes clear his lack of interest in the Europa League winners. “My priority is to play in England. That’s where I want to continue my career and I will do that,” he said. “Maybe clubs have met with Dnipro, but I can only say what I want to do.” Watch the Copa America 2015 live on your PC with bet365. Btw we should all remember Southampton lost "key players" last summer and found a way to replace them and finished higher in the table. We can do the same if we have to do it as well. (That's the most positive thing I've ever said) They did but they got good money for the ones they lost not 6 mil.

Maybe corrupts a little strong but I'm yet to be convinced that qualifying for Europe on the say so of some sort of panel is fair. If I was a Swansea fan I'd be really cheesed off. Not West Hams fault just an opinion no offence meant. So Hammered who do you think your main targets are this year? Remy and Cabaye? If you can get rid of Carroll and free his wages up it'll be a master stroke? No offence taken Cobham - To be fair I agree with your assessment of the fair play stuff and most of us were as surprised as everyone else that 60yd punts were considered positive play!! Whatever, our complete ineptness in the second half of the season has been rewarded with next season starting in a couple of weeks and a new management team that will be hard pushed IMO to be ready and despite Bilic's positive take on footballing targets for next season can see a bumpy few months and a mid-table finish. As I said on page 105/106 of this thread I won't get drawn in to the twatterati hysteria and made up bollocks but of the more believable noise it seems we're after Remy and Cabaye although there is competition from Pardew at Palace apparently. I can't see the Geordie's generous pay as you play offer for Carroll getting any traction either - particularly when you factor in his Mrs (an Essex bird) is just about to drop, and loves the area etc.... I actually like Carroll and unplayable when fit - he's just more likely with his glass knees, ankles and feet to be unplayable. Jenkinson again from Arsenal despite Sunderland's interest looks likely - probably a loan and Song despite his fitness issues could also be an option assuming the price is right. Payet and Halilovic rumours also seem to have some momentum but until they're wearing the claret and blue - I won't get excited. I will say again - there is absolutely no noise on Konoplianka although I rate the bloke and would add to any team in the PL. Did hear on talk shite that Remy would not move any where from London so you have a good chance on that one.Thats where you will always have lead on any transfers north of Watford that you have the bright lights of London.

He could 'do a Dicko' and play for the Soap Dodgers and I'd still wish him luck. He has actually been offered a deal by the Vale. With Dicko now in Vegas still very good mates.

If the sentinel say anything take it as its right. Since the fall out years ago with Coates they are like hand and puppet since an agreement was made between them to work together. Anything printed in the sentinel is ok'd by the club. OK'd by the club might not necessarily mean it's true though, it just means it's in their interest for it to get out. Seninel could be right Sevilla close in on Kakuta deal but unsure on Konoplyanka chances 1 hour ago Topics Evgen Konoplyanka, Gaël Kakuta, Sevilla, La Liga 0 SHARES Share0 Tweet0 0 0 comments UEFA Europa League winners Sevilla are confident of signing Chelsea forward Gael Kakuta, says director of sport Monchi. Sevilla director of sport Monchi has confirmed the UEFA Europa League winners are close to completing a deal with Chelsea for Gael Kakuta. The French forward spent last season on loan in La Liga with Rayo Vallecano, scoring five goals in 35 league appearances. His displays caught the eye of Sevilla and Monchi is confident they can seal a move for the 23-year-old in the coming weeks. "The deal is quite close, although nothing has been closed yet," he said. "Talks with Chelsea and the player are at an advanced stage so I'm feeling quite optimistic that it will go through." However, a swoop for highly rated Dnipro forward Yevhen Konoplyanka remains in the balance, with a host of clubs across Europe also reported to be interested in acquiring his services. Monchi added: "It's complicated. There are a lot of ifs and buts, and we're facing stiff competition from other clubs. "He's got strong ties to Dnipro and doesn't want to leave them in the lurch. "A lot of clubs are chasing him but the Sevilla brand name will give us an increased chance. "But being completely objective, it's not going to be easy at all Read more at www.fourfourtwo.com/au/news/sevilla-close-kakuta-deal-unsure-konoplyanka-chances#tVFW6ZAhpEVDtPMS.99

Was told about 30mins ago, Asmir PR bloke has put his foot down and does not want him doing interviews That suggests a move might be in the offing! I think the PR bloke is being sensible - the "co hosting" would turn into a constant barrage of questions designed to get him to spill the beans and (rightly) he should be keeping his trap shut until a move has been agreed by all parties. You are right there I think,as all they have been on about this week is what will happen when De Gea moves. If this is the case do not think they will be inviting back as this would be the second time he has done it at short notice.

I think what he means is what does that have to do with his ability to get a visa If what Nixon tweeted is correct, that's Dnipro owner was stopping any visa application due to his power. I don't know particularly if he can but just hypothesising on his tweet. If he was then the positive talks with his dad may stop him being an arse or will have to bung him some of the signing on fee.

Some transfer guy on talksport has just reiterated what has been reported here: Terms agreed with Stoke and he wants to play in England. Also said the chairman is pissed he has let his contract run down and has taken it as a personal snub. This seems never-ending Was that the Warren Haughton guy? Did he say he expects us to sign him? Interesting stuff @andrewb12118144 deal is still there, looks like his dad is being a pain & claiming he own his rights not the agency that turned up at Stoke This could run on and on. I have a feeling daddy is after a payoff. Fits in with the article I posted earlier, that I see SL&P have latched onto now, and the exact same situation with the Liverpool deal. James Lippett claimed he was the agent in charge of Konoplyanka yet Konoplyanka'a dad refuted the claims and said he controlled his sons interests. twitter.com/jamlipp78 Doesn't look much like an influential agent that would control the interests of one of the better players in Europe. If you look at is tweets he seems to know Warren Haughton ,might be where he got all that info the other day on talk sport from.
