[Have just been reading this on link below.Very interesting part about the buy out fee. [/quote]http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/783687242?-1841:2178:0 With Chelsea keen to get van Ginkel some more Premier League experience, he was offered to top-flight sides. Both Newcastle and Sunderland were early admirers but it was Stoke who completed the year-long loan deal for the coming season. Another example of Stoke boss Mark Hughes making a shrewd signing to better his side’s technical capacity. It is within Hughes’ interest to play the Dutchman this season as it’s reported the buy-out fee is to decrease relative to increased games played. With Marco making his move as part of the Asmir Begovic move in the opposite direction, it could be the Potters who receive the better end of the deal if they make his move permanent. Id take him. However, its probably West Ham that are in for him no doubt. Forget it only wants London club. The Brazil striker - still just 25 - is currently plying his trade in his homeland at Sao Paulo. And according to Mail Online Pato has been offered to "mid-level" Premier League clubs around London - with West Ham and Crystal Palace thought to be in the driving seat. Pato signed for AC Milan in 2007, aged 17. He scored 51 leagues goals in 117 Serie A games, but struggled with injuries. He has 27 Brazil caps but the last came in 2013 when he scored in a friendly against Aus

Dodgy translation ahoy... Seems a bit of a non-story anyway.. Try this. www.tuttomercatoweb.com/europa/esclusiva-tmw-stoke-no-a-carrillo-705087EXCLUSIVE TMW - Stoke, no CarrilloStoke would want Xherdan Shaqiri at all the costs. The inter player nevertheless has not intention to move to the Potters, while he has been proposed André Carrillo, Peruvian winger of Sporting Lisbon. The English managers nevertheless would love, at least for now, only the Swiss. I refuse then for the South American.According to TMW, Stoke City have been turned down by Sporting Lisbon star André Carrillo. The Premier League side were keen to bring in the player after missing out on Inter Milan winger Xherdan Shaqiri, and therefore their focus turned to long term target Carrillo who was also linked with a move to Newcastle United earlier in the year. It has been revealed the Peru international has turned down the advances of the Premier League side, and it looks like he has committed himself to his current club. Carrillo recently stated that he would be happy to stay with Sporting Lisbon after they appointed former Benfica boss Jorge Jesus as the new coach of the club, and it seems Carrillo has remained true to his word. This will come as a blow to Stoke City and may again try to convince Shaqiri to join the club before Bundesliga side Schalke get there first. We covered reports in April that Stoke City were among a number of clubs reported to be on the scouting list that attended game between Vitoria Setubal and Sporting Lisbon .O Jogo revealed from claims in the British press, that Stoke City were monitoring Carrillo, although the Peruvian winger was also being chased by fellow Premier League side Newcastle. Newcastle had put in a £7m bid for Carrillo back in January but this was turned down by Sporting Lisbon. The winger made a name for himself last season, and therefore his club at the time said they would not accept any offers below his buyout clause, which is set at £21m

For me it was the fact that it was his debut and must have been nervous however, stood up well when 1 v 1 in the box , showed great bravery despite being goaded earlier by a rough challenge, his handling was good and yes his penalty saving needs work but you could not ask for more from a young man in his first game in a Stoke strip. Think Lakuka thought he was going to bully him ,in the end it was Lakuka that was flat out on the beck.

We lost 5-4 on penalties, 0-0 game but the new keeper Jakob Haugaard was absolutely brilliant. Saved off the top of my head 3 goals, Cameron had the game of his life at CB. Shenton looked assured in the squad, overall was a lot of positives on show Adam had a great second half, Joselu had good movement if I was to give MOTM it'd be Arnie first half and Cameron second half. Onto Singapore XI on Saturday, bit of a bummer not to be against Arsenal but it was the first pre-season game in sweltering conditions Go a long with you there, happy with the way we played for the first match of season with Everton having played aready.Tex pick up second half the only one not to play so well I thought was Bards.

Looks like Inter getting pissed off with him now. Piero Ausilio warned Inter players like Xherdan Shaqiri not to reject moves away. “Another opportunity might not come along.” The director of sport discussed the situation with Inter Channel, the club’s official television station. There have been numerous players coming in, but from this year all Serie A squads must be limited to 25 players and Inter currently have 32. “There is a rule and that means common sense,” continued Ausilio. “The Coach and club already have the team in mind, there will be decisions on who will leave. Some have already rejected a move and those who did must understand that another opportunity might not come along. “These are the numbers and we cannot go beyond those. We also choose two or three young players to move into the senior squad. “For some time now I have been asked to sell in order to buy, aside from Financial Fair Play. I don’t like to take people for a ride. “So far we’ve worked bringing players in and tried to get it done quickly, as certain people might not be available later on in the summer. “That doesn’t mean our capabilities are limitless or that we’re only buying. Now we have to find resources via sales and balance the books.” Among those on the chopping block are Shaqiri, Davide Santon, Fredy Guarin and Juan Jesus. Think you know your Italian football? Now he is a good player and could be an excellent N'Zonzi replacement. He turned down the shit and Chelsea in June so cannot see him coming to us,but like you say would be a good signing.

Forget about it. As soon as it was rumoured that he wanted to stay and fight for his place it was over. That's all well and good if he thinks he stands a chance but if Mancini and co have already made their mind up about him, what would be the point? I think he will go somewhere and let;s face it, time is well on his side. Looks like Inter getting pissed off with him now. Which bit of Shah had rejected the offer from stoke do you see as particularly positive This bit.Xherdan Shaqiri to Stoke City was a bolt from the blue a few days ago. Stoke City had shown huge ambition in agreeing a fee with Inter Milan for the former Bayer Munich player, but then Shaqiri vetoed any idea of a deal. Stoke got criticism at the time for not finding out if Shaqiri wanted the move before agreeing a fee, it's what clubs now do regardless of it being against the rules. There seems to be little appetite for getting into price talks without the will of the player. However, Stoke did absolutely the right thing. A little embarrassment at Shaqiri turning them down was never going to be an issue and if they'd have approached the player first then he'd have probably put them off. Getting a fee agreed at least made things more serious and a little harder for Shaqiri to swat away. Gazzetta dello Sport say on Thursday that the idea of the transfer is on again and that's because Stoke have offered to put a release clause in the Swiss international's contract. Should a Champions League qualified club come in for the player next summer then they'd sell him, there's no mention of for what price but the likelihood is it would be similar to what they'd have agreed with Inter Milan. Shaqiri is currently thinking about it.

We need to spend £10m to replace him. I'd go for Huddlestone maybe in the short term. Maybe try and get Rodwell, Shelvey or maybe an audacious bid for Delph? Knock Shelvey off your list ,just signed new contract today.

As sad as I would be to see N'Zonzi leave, Glenn Whelan has been a far better pound-for-pound player for Stoke with none of the end of season histrionics that we have had to put up with from N'Zonzi. In terms of assists and goals, Charlie Adam has also been far more effective. A midfield of Whelan-Adam-Bojan does not look shabby to me, although we need to add at least one in the N'Zonzi mould. The only good thing to come out of this ,is he will not be in another team in the Prem.

He won't be staying at Inter, Mancini has very nicely said that there's no space, they've been very active in the window and they accepted our offer with zero fuss, he may not be coming to Stoke but he won't be playing for Inter On a proud Stokie note, he won't be doing much better than us, failed at Bayern, rejected Liverpool, joined Inter and failed there, 6 months later we have a bid very publicly accepted and as of yet no hijacking, no nothing, no Liverpool reigniting interest, bugger all Saying he failed might be a tad harsh because he wasn't given much of a chance at either, we all know he's a top top top footballer but he has to show it, he won't be showing it on the bench (at best) at Inter, he needs guaranteed game time and we can offer him that I'm not having any of this "we're not appealing, why would he want to come" bollocks, we did wonders for Arnie and did what European giants failed to do for Bojan, if Shaqiri wants a stage to prove that he can do it then Stoke is the perfect place, not to mention the millions we're willing to throw at him to ice the cake If he thinks that he can get back in Mancinis plans he has no idea what he is like. Also nice bit about Hughes in there. Craig Bellamy has revealed he has not spoken to Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini for 18 months - and blames the Italian's man-management style for the breakdown in communication. The 31-year-old striker - expected to be left behind when City's first-team squad fly to Los Angeles for pre-season training today - claims his career prospects at Eastlands stalled within days of Mancini being installed as successor to Mark Hughes in December 2009. He claimed: "At present I expect to go back there and stay the whole year. And if Mancini is still there I'll probably do very little. Obviously I won't be involved with him and the first team. "It was tough (when Hughes left) - it was like losing someone. It was probably as bad as losing a family member in some ways. I even struggled to eat for a few days. "It was a totally different structure which affected me completely. Mancini told me to stay with the team all the time. We had longer training sessions, but with no intensity whatsoever. "He seemed to know my knee better than I knew it myself. He tried to explain why I had problems with it and what I should do about it. When I told him my knee was hurting, he tried to tell me it wasn't. "Mancini wanted me to come in another day and do some work - but I told him I'd finished my work that day, that I was keeping to my own schedule. "That was when he started about my programme, that I couldn't follow my own schedule while he was the manager - and that I had to do what he was telling me. "He said 'if you don't you can go back home now. And don't come in again'. I replied 'okay, no problem, I'm going home then'. That was a week after he'd arrived - and then he never spoke to me again."

Stoke transfer report: Xherdan Shaqiri does NOT want to leave Inter MilanStoke City target Xherdan Shaqiri has revealed he wants to stay and fight for his place at Inter Milan. Mark Hughes' Potters had a £12m bid accepted for the Swiss midfielder last week but the player could not agree terms with the Premier League side. And now the 23-year-old has poured cold water on any hope of rekindling that deal and insists his future remains at the San Siro. Shaqiri, who joined Inter from Bayern Munich in January, has struggled to hit the heights for Roberto Mancini's men so far but is determined to prove his worth in a Nerazzurri shirt. According to FcInterNews, the former Basel star has confirmed he turned down the Potters to see out the remaining four years on his contract with the Serie A giants. Theres allways Andros Townsend for 15 M. £15m Townsend/Irons link Posted by Hugh5outhon1895 on July 7, 2015 in News, Whispers Andros-TownsendAndros Townsend is a regular arrival in the West Ham silly season transfer news. He is again raised as a possible arrival in some morning newspapers although the stories look like a near repeat of those we were seeing in October 2014. Back then he was seen as a replacement for Matt Jarvis who – it was claimed – is edging towards the exit door . In fact he wasn”t THEN and he isn’t NOW as ClaretandHugh reported yesterday.

I thought so too and this was before Chelsea had bid for Bego. Why don't the posters on here treat him as they seem to do every other player who doesn't sign immediately - fcuk him off; if he doesn't want us, we don't want him; etc etc - or do we have double standards for some? With Chelsea and Manchester United reportedly looking to sign current number one Asmir Begovic, the Daily Mail claims that Al-Habsi will be signed as his replacement. The Oman international has been training with Reading this week with a view to a possible move, but could now join the Potters instead. Al-Habsi, 33, left Wigan Athletic at the end of the 2014-15 season.

It's based on Gazzetta dello Sport though. In his heart of hearts, he may never have really been prepared to come here in January. The only way we'll ever know definitively that we we'ren't/aren't being used is if he signs. How would they know his decision, only an hour or so after we'd agreed a fee and surely Shaqiri would at least sit down with his agents and discuss the deal and then think about it for a few days, not just saying no to the move only hours after a fee had been agreed. I Can not see if Stoke had made a Offer that they would not have told Him or his agent that they where in talks with Stoke .Which at that stage you would think before it got to the agreeing fee stage ,they would have said there no way I am going there .

One thing that concerns me is dnipro's owners reluctance to work with non Jewish. That puts it in the hands of Spurs, but still would levy pay over the odds to Kono so he can agree terms with Dnipro owner about terminating his 3rd party agreement Lets hope he does a deal with Levy like he did with Abramovich if wants to deal with Jewish people.
