I really don't like Man City, but I'm beginning to hate Real Madrid. Bunch of tossers.
Bellingham and Foden both relatively quiet so far.

Yes but if he can get Rotherham to turn Blues over on Saturday then it’s definitely his day off from being a twat! BM Absolutely agreed mick🔴⚪️ He's been hugely successful at Stevenage so it seems like a very good appointment. A blow for Stevenage.

Bottom line is if we can't beat Huddersfield at home, lose to Wednesday at home, get whupped by Blackburn and roll over at Swansea we deserve to go down. Bottom line is if we beat Wednesday and Plymouth we'll be staying up... Very true, and I do like the positive approach, which is sadly beyond me at the moment.

Come on Leeds.... don't do a Leicester you twats. If Leeds don't score in this 2nd half, looks like another nail in the coffin for us.

100% dive for me One of the worst culprits in the league It's just crazy shit, how does this con man sleep at night? Embarrassing, and his manager should pulling him up on it, but I wouldn't bet on it.

How is it incorrect? 🤣 There was far more lax ffp rules and we could have done what we wanted if we wanted to. We could have made ourselves a top 6-10 club if we wanted to. Clearly if Coates said we were punching then there was no appetite for that which is a real shame. And tbh what’s the fucking point if you’ve got all that money? You look at Brighton and the stadium, training ground and academy they have as a legacy. We kind of have that but everything to a much lower level. The new improvement to the training ground though is much needed but still won’t put it amongst the best. And I don’t think for the money they have, that is too much to ask for. It just seems like a great opportunity missed. What is the legacy? Not much and that’s the sad reality of it. I enjoyed it lots thanks. You think Brighton are going to be around in the top flight forever do you? Let’s see where they are in five years. Their “best of the rest” crown that they took from us is starting to slip along with Brentford. There’s no such thing as a “top 6-10 club” for us at that level. You’ve got the massive superpowers, and then the rest of us who just keep swapping places and fighting either to stay up or come back up. Exactly, 'pushing on' for most clubs in the PL is staying in the Division for a reasonable amount of time. Historically we have been one of the most successful examples. Chances are unless you are in the top 7 wealthiest (inc Newcastle now) you are part of cycle of brief success stories and then eventually relegation. Villa are having a great season but they will never sustain that kind of position over a few seasons.

He was a victim of them for around 5 years. There was a certain amount of blondism back then! Blonde forwards weren't seen as tough or hard working as dark haired players! Ian Moores suffered with discrimination as well! Also hair length was still a factor in people's perceptions! This is true. I remember Alan Whittle and I think Alan Birchenall used to get a bit of booing. Both blonde. They used to get wolf whistled implying that they were effeminate because of their hair. Bizarre really.

But I don't see any point in being negative about it either. Good luck to him. He will definitely be committed.

Palmer and Gallagher have loads to do to make the England squad this summer. I think Gallagher is bang average myself, not international standard for me. I thought both Palmer and Gallagher struggled against Sheffield United's midfield today. Ive heard a lot of hype about Palmer and not seen too much of him so I don't know overall, I'm sure he's a good prospect but I thought he was pretty ordinary today.

Have turned off this Man Utd v Liverpool game.
I'm just sick and tired of the playacting and rolling around. It's just getting totally pathetic and sad really that there is no will in the game to put a stop to it. Refs and media only seem to encourage it.

He makes a meal of it and there’s no need to go down but what is Estupian thinking? I don’t think it’s a sending off but we’ve all seen players get sent off for much less and he couldn’t argue if he was sent off. I don’t think we’ve ever seen someone sent off for pushing someone in the chest. White is pathetic. Just really pathetic. You would hope he is embarrassed but I wouldn't put my house on it. Needs eradicating from the game, but no signs of any will to do it, hence why players will continue with these antics.

Cracking game Spoilt by the fact that the ref called a blatant dive spot on and is over ruled by VAR. A player who was diving all game . Cantwell trying to touch the Celtic players up on the whistle Cantwell is a complete knob. He's a player who flatters to deceive if ever there was one.

Its a bit crazy to expect this level to be on a par with English PL when you look at comparative revenues
I read recently that the Championship draws 1000x more worldwide in Tv revenues compared to SPL.
Spurs revenue is 6x that of Rangers and pay out 4x more in wages for example. Chelsea pay 7x more in wages.

Must admit I was just being a prick and looking for a reaction at the top of the thread with my boring comment. It’s the very first time I’ve ever watched this Derby. All I can say is watchable. My boring comment is aimed more at the Scottish league in general. precisely, whatever you think of Scottish football, these games are usually quite fun to watch.

Resisting the urge for not bringing Ennis on but instead we had a totally disinterested Campbell? I’d prefer a disinterested Campbell to Ennis. At least Campbell can play football It’s a load of bollocks that Campbell was disinterested from the usual blinkered culprits. He was so disinterested that he replaced our best player on the day and improved us. He wasn’t brilliant but he improved the team and that’s what you want from a sub. He pushed them further back and they didn’t like it.

He never looked like scoring the penalty. We seen some wretched ones over the past few years but that must be the worst. The only constellation was the keeper misjudged his dive as the shot was so feeble and the ball rebounded back to the kicker. Mmaee's earlier in the season was as bad as that imo. Absolutely no conviction in either. The management need to get a grip with it, but the players need to be capable as well.

He's an excellent player but he ain't a striker. He's very good at getting others into goalscoring positions but he looks shit scared of them himself. He's way too ponderous and timid for a striker. I'm hoping it's just a matter of confidence and he can bring this into his game at some point.

I don't think they have had to break sweat tbh Other than when Manhoef and Haks should've scored. We should be 2-0 up, I'd call that making the opposition sweat. But they didn't look like scoring in a million years.

Can anyone realistically seeing us score 2 goals in this game?
2 own goals seems our only chance as things stand.
