Let's not get gloss over the fact the game was there for the taking tonight and yet again he was too slow in making subs, they made three and instantly win a penalty. If someone other than Bamford doesn't take it, they go 1-0 up, our heads drop, he makes 3 desperation subs and we lose the game. But did any of that happen? No, so he called it right did he not? Ah yeah, he must've known Bamford would miss the penalty The point I was trying to make before you tried to be a smart arsed twat, was the fact we surrendered momentum in a game because he was yet again too slow to make subs. A game in which up to that point he'd got pretty much right and we deserved to be in front in. Had Bamford scored and we'd lost the game it would've been down to him being too slow to make changes, thus surrendering a very winnable game. Of course it all worked out ok but hindsight is a wonderful thing and in the future we may not get so lucky or come up against someone as wank at pens as Bamford is

He did say he was readying subs when they got the penalty after their changes. He maybe needs to reflect and be a bit more proactive with subs and get in first? The subs needed making between 60-65.

Anyone with half a brain knew that it would take a while to get this team to gel. We're not there yet and I expect it will take another month or so before we are a great side. Two fantastic home wins and some people on here are either stubborn or thick to suggest that he should be sacked. Stop making yourselves look silly and back him. Admitting you're wrong is a strength, not a weakness. Let's not get gloss over the fact the game was there for the taking tonight and yet again he was too slow in making subs, they made three and instantly win a penalty. I think Wilmot getting injured is the lucky injury we needed. Stops him being tempted to play a back 3

Who takes it? Can't quite believe we're in November nearly and we don't know who takes our pens

Ade Akinbiyi. His departure sparked Gifton in to life.

Put Shed Seven on a Friday or a Saturday in Stoke and you'd probably double if not treble the numbers there last night.

How much do they charge mate? My lady is terrible lately, I'm convinced she's got a big build up of wax. She loves sticking cotton buds down her ears cos she loves the feeling so she's nailed on to have a shit load of compacted wax. Sick of her having the TV blaring

Just back from Shed Seven at the Vicky Hall. Another awesome gig by the band. Never fail to impress and seem to get better and better each time I see them. take a bow Rick Witter I watched them for the first time last year at Parr Hall in Warrington and did not enjoy it because I thought the sound was not very good at all (Parr Halls fault not Sheds). Went last night to see them for the second time last night and they were fucking awesome. The sound was brilliant. Just a little note, out of this 8 date tour, Stoke is the only one that did not sell out. For me, it is the right decision currently not to have a arena in the city It was a Monday night.

As my gaming time is extremely limited due to young child and a Mrs that hates me playing on my PS4, I need a game or two that I can just pick up and play for half hour here, an hour there and have a good time.
My warzone days died when they went to Caldera and although I've got a save on Red Dead, that game takes proper time, proper hours.
I think I'm going to buy the Resident Evil 4 remake after the chat on the horror games thread but can anyone recommend another game or two that I should buy?

How are people finding the game? I think it feels great myself, don't know if it's just my imagination (and I haven't played since FM22) but it all feels much smoother & faster. It feels like the scouting system has had a huge overhaul aswell, I used to get so tired of asking my scouts to go & find me some U21's from the Croatian league & they'd come back with some 28yo Spanish bloke from Real Madrid who was worth £100m, now they actually go & find me what I asked for. How are people doing injury wise? I dunno if I just got an unlucky save or what but I am constantly getting injuries. I'm halfway through September & I've only just had Travers & Burger make their debuts as they'd both been injured (Travers got injured THREE times before he'd even made it onto the pitch for me!) I've had to send Hoever back to Wolves as he broke his leg & would be out for 9 months, signed a lad to be his replacement & he's already out injured. I signed Danny Rose to give me some cover at left-back & yup, you guessed it, he's out injured for 7 weeks... And they're just the major 'month+' injuries, I've also got a never ending stream of 'week here, week there' type injuries. Injuries aside the team are doing well though, currently sat top of the league, Wesley, Mmaee & Lowe are all banging in goals for fun, Haks & Bae are assist machines. It's all going well, I'm enjoying it. Could it be worth looking in to your training schedule?

I really like Mmaee. I think he’s looked the best of the signings so far even with Vidigal’s goals. He just looks a proper footballer. Very excited to see him, Vidigal and Bae playing together. And we had idiots on here question why he’s in peoples first 11’s🤣🤣 Our main striker signing of the summer and people thinking he’s crap cos they watched him in one game 😂. Only fucking Stoke fans I swear

He's a proper footballer, hence why we'll get these threads and some of the ridiculous answers. The mind boggled at times, sometimes I honestly believe we don’t deserve good footballers. A % of our fanbase wouldn’t know a good footballer if they walked up and smacked them in the face

Should’ve packed him off to Italy when we had the chance

From his comments in the Sentinel this week, doesn't sound like Clark will be starting Saturday and probably not vs Leeds either. So there's every chance he might never start a game for Alex! Haha why is he going somewhere? News to me that one Two home defeats would leave us with 1 win in 10 and probably in the bottom 3, no manager can survive that.

I think if Clark is anywhere near fit, he has to play Saturday, a combined of Rose &; McNally fills me with dread, throw in Hoever against Clark and it's absolutely scary!!!. Hoevers performance against the Soton winger, was the stuff of nightmares. Surely Junior has the right back spot nailed down already, unless he's needed at left back. However given he's our player and his future lies at right back long term, I'd rather we keep him there and play Gooch or Hoever at left back.

Two defeats from these two home games, leaves us with one win 10 wouldn't it? Would surely be curtains for him. Totally agree....although if the signing of Clarke proves pivotal then only at Stoke could a 34yr old freebie save a managers career From his comments in the Sentinel this week, doesn't sound like Clark will be starting Saturday and probably not vs Leeds either. So there's every chance he might never start a game for Alex!

I know it's just another game, but feel for a number of reasons, a massive game for the club, the fans and the manager?.. Two defeats from these two home games, leaves us with one win 10 wouldn't it? Would surely be curtains for him.

They also thought Paul Lambert was the man to save us from relegation. Clueless springs to mind And the ones who thought it was a great idea letting AN bring in 18 players and totally change everything at the club despite a season of failure beforehand. And let the manager appoint their own technical director (a personal favourite of mine).

I'll never fathom for as long as I live that why a board of directors with foresight of their strategy upon relegation of spending lavishly, decided that Gary Rowett was the man to spend it. It's pretty much the sole reason we find ourselves in this position today. They also thought Paul Lambert was the man to save us from relegation. Clueless springs to mind

From next season we will have a modern sports bar, an outside drinking area with food & beer trucks and live music/entertainment pre & post match. Good lord what is there to moan about? The club have listened about the wank match day experience and acted, fair fucking play. I'll deffo be heading down the first match it's ready. Shame we'll be in league one with gates of 11k.

2, 3 and 4 have had remakes haha I'd totally forgotten 3, the sands of time had me believe Code Veronica was 3, forgot all about Nemesis and the end with the rocket launcher . I never played 4, so tempted to get the remake for PS4, the reviews I've seen look very good.

Isn’t Griffiths still injured?
Wasn’t aware of the 25 thing with DWP. Bonkers he’s still at the club if that’s the case.

Looks like Ali Hayder made his debut for the Iraq men’s national team today. Congrats to him! What's his potential level do you think? league 1? I don't understand what's happened to D'Margio Wright-Phillips, thought he could make it. But seems he could be without a club soon. Mental he’s chosen to put 2 keepers on the bench ahead of DWP

Resident Evil 2 is to this day still one my favourite games ever. Not played it for about 20 years though now so not sure how it would be revisiting it. Code Veronica was great too but I fucked my save up and didn’t have the right weapons available or enough healing items to beat a certain boss. Tried for months to beat the cunt and couldn’t so never managed to complete it. Cheated with both silent hill’s and used a walkthrough to do both as if rented them from the video shop😂. The Resident Evil 2 remake from a few years back was excellent. Loved Code Veronica too, that's hopefully due a remake before too long. They did a remake??!!

Good evening all. I’m coming down to the game on Saturday and just wondering decent places to park my car. Doesn’t have to be the cheapest, as long as it’s not miles away and I won’t get stuck at the end. Oh and best place for an oatcake? My personal top 3 for oatcakes Foley Oatcakes - King Street, Fenton Oatcake Cuisine - Carlisle Street, Dresden London Road Oatcakes - London Road, Stoke

Anyone got any recommendations? Might dig out some classic Resident Evils or the old Silent Hill games. The Blair Witch game is for sale in PS Store at the moment and have heard good things about that too. Resident Evil 2 is to this day still one my favourite games ever.
