On request. Where do the Swedish politicians get their info from?
Moilanen, chief of the Drug Politic Center says:
Legalization doesn't stop the gangs! The experiences of the countries that have legalized cannabis are not good. The UN agency INCB devotes an entire chapter to the consequences of cannabis legalization in its latest annual report. It shows that the use of cannabis has increased in all countries and regions that have legalized it. Cannabis-related health problems are also on the rise, and it is pointed out that a fast-growing cannabis industry is developing and marketing products to attract young people while devoting significant resources to lobbying for reduced control.
The INCB also points out that legalization has not led to the disappearance of the illegal actors either. In Canada, criminal gangs still control close to half the market of what it was at the time of legalization. In California, the authorities today have a bigger problem with organized crime around cannabis than they did before - it is simply easier for criminals to operate in a legalized environment. Legalizing cannabis in Germany would make it easier for criminal groups in Europe. This is the opposite of what Sweden needs right now.

At least they've finally taken a decision about the visitation zones in different places in some cities of ours in Sweden.
But - and here comes the typically Swedish ingredient - the Police have to write about it on their website, inform media so they can give a warning in the papers, on the radio, tv and internet, they have to hand out maps in advance so the weapon armed gangs can avoid those places.
WHAT THE FUCK ?????

In Russia possession and use of cannabis is seen as a very serious crime. I don't know what it means, perhaps 10 or 20 years in prison?
In comparison, in Japan possession can mean 5 years in prison and 7 years if you're seen using it. Research about cannabis is strictly forbidden.
It means if we'll see more of the russian ships already seen in our harbours and troops marching in, the situation for cannabis users will be even worse.

Do you know how the situation is in Russia by any chance? Is cannabis decriminalised? Haven't looked tbh, had a mate that went there years ago for a hangliding comp and he came back saying it was growing wild everywhere, it was probably hemp but if they tolerate that growing I doubt they're too worried about weed in general. Since not a few expect to be under russian flag during our lifetime ...

I saw on the tabloids he had another misstress so I'm not sure ... Probably just rumours. However, we have The Pirate Parti (which also exists in other countries). They say the current drug policy isn't human. Our social minister says they talk bullshit, since everyone who needs any treatment gets it if they want, unless they have committed a crime ... The Pirate Party isn't popular here. They have an idea to diminish the immaterial rights as well. It would mean a disaster for many companies here. The time when the assets and company value lied in machines and real capital is long gone. For many companies the substantial company value is their immaterial rights. The Pirate Party got 6 of the votes in 10.000 people on city level, 4 of the votes in 10.000 people on region level and 14 of the votes in 10.000 people on national level. One day they'll let your people see that the emperor was naked all along, as countries around you gradually legalise and people see what a farce it always was they'll have no choice. Do you know how the situation is in Russia by any chance? Is cannabis decriminalised?

It was before our current government, so it must have been a Social Democrat. Clarification: it really doesn't matter who rules the country here, when it comes to this topic. So I gather, the emperor must be seen to be wearing the finest gowns made from the finest material 😂 I saw on the tabloids he had another misstress so I'm not sure ... Probably just rumours. If you're interested in different ways of seeing an economy you should study the field The Economics of Happiness. My mentor mentioned it, but I studied real wages instead ...
Mark Anielski wrote a book in 2007 or something ... But there are others. Check it out!

At our internationally accredited business school at the university the students are taught economic growth aren't really growth to begin with. It is seen as a need for getting status quo in the best of worlds. Even if the figures say something, you have to consider things like migration and population growth. The need for more resources to our public sector comes with more people, therefore you have to get a growth. If these people to some extent also are rather old or sick or dyslectic you won't expect them to contribute that much.
You can't slice a 8-piece tart to 12 people all of a sudden and expect everyone to be equally happy. Therefore you need growth.
Since the millenium shift the economic growth in Sweden is doubtful. The migration and globalisation hasn't helped the situation. Besides, a much better measure is real wages, and preferably with a bit of adjustment calculation effort.

And that's why Swedish politicians see it as a gateway drug. Some guy among them said way back "that's why it's even more dangerous than heroine, since not all dealers have heroine ..." Then the Swedish politicians are uninformed idiots and so is 'some guy' 🙂 It was before our current government, so it must have been a Social Democrat. Clarification: it really doesn't matter who rules the country here, when it comes to this topic.

The only reason cannabis could have been considered a gateway drug is because the only place they can get it is from people that also sell other drugs, people with an incentive to increase their market and profit margin And that's why Swedish politicians see it as a gateway drug. Some guy among them said way back "that's why it's even more dangerous than heroine, since not all dealers have heroine ..."

News A couple of nazis attacked the theatre where the communists held a meeting yesterday. A fire bomb and stuff. No severe damage or injuries. Is it 1924? A few years ago, their office was blown up in the city center.

I had a Laundry pass scheduled, not tomorrow but next Friday.
However, that will be canceled due to an emergency check on this building's ventilation. It was supposed to happen in 2026 but it's already in early May this year.
Pipes with air, pipes with electricity, pipes with water. I wish they could check them all simultaneously.
Let's see if the water pipe noise occur while they're here for the air check.
According to the letter they'll stay with me for 8 hours and a quarter.

I did, and it worked for a while. Then they were blocked anyway, when I turned on the pc again later. But there were no longer a box that said Unblock (or Block).
So I erased the two pics and the folder and did a new try. First it said they were blocked because they might come from another computer. So I unblocked. It work for a while. Then when I put the pc on later the two pics didn't show up again, so I had to click on the file names to see them.
I tried to rename the pics but the same result. I've thought about renaming the folder.
But - as always - I'm actually more interested in WHY this occurs. How can a scanner / pc feel where the two pieces of paper (the glossy photos) come from? These two photos were sent to my mother. None of the other photos.

There can't be too many people still left with their heads in the sand and thinking climate change isn't happening is there? But it's getting your average person to try and change the small basics of their life, to try and help the environment, as well as doing after the big polluters. I think it's as simple as replacing economic growth as a measurement of success. But no one in a big enough position of power will even suggest that. Replaced with what?

But it's getting your average person to try and change the small basics of their life, to try and help the environment, as well as doing after the big polluters. I know of a few. The EU party election coming up here in early June and the EAP says there's no pollution, heat or climate change whatsoever. The Earth has never felt better. One other argument sometimes heard here is: of course there is a climate change, but there have always been climate changes on this planet, that's why the dinosaurs died out, that's why Kingdoms have come and go, that's why Atlantis disappeared et cetera. Me personally think the climate change is rapid. And I do recycling weekly, the only transportation I use is walking.

I have several thousand photos after my mother and I will scan about 500 of them. I've done 40% by now. I put them in different folders. When I double click on a folder the pictures within that folder are shown immediately.
I don't have any WiFi or other kind of broadband on and I use the same pc and scanner during the whole process.
However. Two of all those thousands of photos are photos we haven't taken by any camera within the family. My mother got the two pictures in an envelope from relatives in a physical postal letter.
Now: When I scan these two photos and put them in a folder, the pc gives me a message for each one of them, when I double click the folder: "The picture is blocked since it can come from another computer. They are blocked to protect your computer."
They are glossy pieces of paper, just like the rest of the photos. How can my Canon scanner know these two pictures have been sent to mother from someone else?
It's spooky! 👻
