We’ve got a striker that could get 20 in this league in Mmaee. People seem to miss the fact that strikers need service to score goals and we’ve been shocking at creating chances. I'd like what you're smoking if you think he'll score 20 in this league, he's absolutely shite. Not a chance. He's got the correct movement and his finishing is decent, he will definitely hit double figures with correct service.

Maybe an unpopular but I rate him. Hasn’t played well lately and makes some questionable decisions but there is definitely a player there. If we get the team confident and playing well Hoever offers so much threat from right back it’s worth his relative weakness when defending. He needs to be paired ideally with Lleris as our other wide forwards don’t track back (Vidigal and Campbell mainly). He’s become a bit of a target because he looks languid and has been taking some shit corners but I don’t recall us conceding any goals directly because of him. Rose on the other hand…. Bang on mate. If we get a manager in who actually wants play football we will see him do well.

Obviously sees things very differently with players, Mmaee and Hoever stink the place out, still selecting Johnson and he’s not playing Junior in the right position. If he resolves this for Millwall then just slightly, possibly, perhaps maybe….but I think he will be as clueless as the last four five with players out of position and in the team for no good reason, so for me, I’m out….we have to have a better manager. You taking the piss? Ryan played well upfront but was isolated because bae was working all over the pitch. Thought burger had his best game for us and actually think laurent looked better than Pearson alongside him.

Burger and maaee have been massive disappointments this season as they came for big fees. Our recruitment has let’s be honest, been fucking awful. Mmaee is woeful but he cost €2M (£1.75M) upfront. In what world is that a big fee? I actually think he did very well today, he's got the quality just needs players playing around him.

At least he's actually got something on his cv though. Eustace had a good run of games for 1/4 of a season and now he's the messiah 😂🙈 remember at this time the mighty port vale were up near the top as well, look how they've fallen in the timeframe. Can't actually believe the family are even considering the bloke, if he wasn't a ex player the people on here would be absolute crazy. If he wasn’t an ex player we’d look at an up and coming British coach that’s rated in coaching circles, worked well in lower leagues, stabilised a basket case club that were set to go down, turned them into a top 6 side before being sacked by someone who wanted a bigger name and have slid to 17th since. I do appreciate the level of confidence that you provided for the surface level summary of the situation, mind. People seem to be forgetting that brum actually have a good squad "going down" is actually bollocks. Plus with the fact he makes pulis ball look like watching Barca.

Yeah - saw it and groaned And vented! Although having looked more deeply into him for 10 minutes, not quite as bleak as I was expecting. There is a level of respect there from Sheff Utd fans. Took over a good group of players who'd been asked to play very different Jokanovic-ball, and failed, and got them playing to their level. And despite them having parachute money, there were difficulties off the pitch with transfer embargoes. So deserves some credit for a good promotion - although he did have a good squad to do it with with Berge, Ndiaye, the core of the Wilder team and the Man City loanees Seems a nice, quiet, pretty intelligent bloke (if a bit dour) It's been an absolute car crash this season though, about as bad as it could go. Still think the vibes are all wrong for this one, and hoping it doesn't happen At least he's actually got something on his cv though. He was offered the job, he got to the stage where he was even looking for houses. I was under the impression that this was common knowledge. He turned us down. Changed his mind yes

I recall seeing a Stokie recently having a photo on a plane with DM. He said he had been offered the job if I remember correctly? He did. The guy worked on the plane and he 100% said Moyes told him he was offered the job. He was offered the job, he got to the stage where he was even looking for houses.

If leaking Hecky interest is a subtle tactic to try and get everyone behind Eustace, it......might just work I'd actually have hecky over eustace. At least he's actually done something in his career. Eustace has the same win percentage as Neil and had a worse cv with worse football 😷

Pray that Lockyer has a speedy recovery. Does bring into question question how he was signed fit to resume pro career after the collapse in the play-off final earlier in the year. Think he had a pacemaker fitted but fuck knows how it didn't operate. I can't see him playing again now though they wouldn't be able insure him. Sad that it's come to this for the lad as he's been playing brilliant

Dyche has to be in top 3 for manager of season so far. Everton are a championship club on paper apart from onana and doucoure, the blokes a magician.

If anyone fancies wasting 20p, I've got sky bet to add Ian Evatt to the betting odds. He's got shares in Bolton so he won't be leaving, should have saved your 20p and spend it on about 1/3 of a freddo😉

When you look at the pace of this game and watch any stoke game it's like a total different game. We're shockingly unfit it's ridiculous, let's hope the new gaffer gets stuck into them. So strange when you think who have been our managers tho. You’d have thought at least Rowett, Jones and Neil would have been disciplinarians that get their team into good shape. I think we've been soft. To be fair nathan tried getting into them and they didn't like it, they downed tools for him. A few players would run through walls for him but the majority of senior players couldn't be arsed. We've been a soft touch for FAR too long and players have got away with murder, even in the PL days under Hughes towards the end.

He's THE only candidate left who will totally until the fanbase behind him (apart from Potter who's ruled himself out) if the club don't get him they're going be here again 18 months down the line and a LOT more fans will be giving them shit.surely the Coates family aren't THAT stupid to remember what happened last time? This is probably the biggest decision they'll make in the history they've owned the club, they have the money to make it happen so anything else makes them look small-time and going for the cheap fix. Aren't we constrained by FFP though. Or can one of our subsidiaries pay him via a non exec role at bet365 or something like man city would do😆 There will always be ways around it, look at how Watford have avoided ffp. He could be paid 5 million for a bet 365 advert... 👀

Pete Smith is getting fed rubbish by the club. Nuno Espírito Santo is going to get round two interview over the weekend. I really hope he gets the job. He has fly in to UK since Thursday, you don't do this for the fun of it. Bold statement given I've spent the afternoon thinking Nuno and his big blue watch will not be prowling the managers zone any game soon. I hope you're right, if only for the madness that will ensure IF he gets the job. Wouldn't be surprised if we end up with Mowbray. Wouldn't be too disapppointed either, he isn't the most exciting name for sure but he'd keep us easily in this division. And his stats are pretty good too. I'd take him over carsley and eustace thats for sure.

Just been looking at JDTs stats 80 games at Blackburn 38 won 47.5% win percentage. If you take his stint at Roda in the eredivisie out of the equation his numbers are really good. People are also forgetting they're lower half budget wise and they've lost a few of best players from last season. He would be far better than eustace imo.

I’ve not got the same hard on for Will Still as some. Very early days in his management career and the pressure would be ramped up if he moved to Sunderland….. The difference is his approach to the game is very stats based and a new way the games going, Brentford and Brighton use similar methods.

To be fair, Tomasson was an elite player, with Serie As and Champions Leagues - and 2 Swedish titles as a manager. And a 7th place in his first Champo season, with a team with a lower mid-table wage budget. And he comes across as intelligent and charismatic. Blackburn are also one of the most entertaining teams in the league. I think that's a bit more than jus not being English. They also got to the quarter finals of the FA Cup. Two very late goals for Sheffield United cost them a place in the semi finals. He's certainly done a lot more than eustace with a worse team so that's a massive difference between him and eustace 🙈

If the alternatives are Dean Smith and Tony Mowbray, then Eustace, come on down. Doubt he’ll last longer than 12 months though. I'd take Mowbray over eustace at least he plays better football and has experience working with younger players.

It’s why I think Eustace would honestly be good. Whilst he’s done well in difficult circumstances so far, he’d be a low fanfare arrival with low expectations. That could help him just get on with it on the pitch, rather than a high profile option who’d come with all the heightened expectations of it, the lows would be lower. Might be a pessimistic viewpoint but I’d be happy with Eustace, he’s probably my first choice atm, and would like someone low profile to build something out of the limelight with us. 2 seasons with Kidderminster Harriers in the National League, and 1 season at Birmingham where he achieved a 33% win rate and is still referred to as John Useless by Blues fans. His managerial CV is awful. We need much much better. We might as well gave kept Neil if we're going for eustace. His cv blows eustace out the water and his football is absolute shocking. Couple of bad results and it could get messy for eustace even with him.being a ex player. Surely the family aren't THAT stupid to appoint him, SURELY?

Please Noooooooo not Scott Parker. Terrible mumbling interviews, zero comms skills, apologetic manner, just AWFUL. (plus the weird striped sleeve jumper things.. embarrassing) Stand out candidate is GRAHAM POTTER but likely couldn't get him. Smart football brain, straight talker, surprised he's not back in a job. COME ON COATES, Go Get Potter. He's turned down 2 top class European jobs why the fuck would he come stoke? Stay off the crack pal.
