Fantastic news that it's finally all confirmed, hopefully he'll be a great addition over the next few years. Just out of interest, where is it confirmed? not yet, but lets just say it is going to be, for sure. as for slovak newspapers - their confirmed reality is often just a wishful thinking

Well, schengen does the trick these days;) I went in about 2006 or 7, just before you joined schengen. When I was in Slovakia on the train I remember seeing a big castle on a hill to the left as we were heading west, I've always wondered what/where it was, any ideas? wow, now that is really difficult to guess based only on that, sorry ;( was it somewhere in the city or just sitting in the middle of nowhere?

Well, i guess it was not that hard to figure it out;) i've known the guy for years now personally, so you can take my word on what i wrote before. Hope your management team is seriously thinking about bringing him in, i am truly convinced he will do great. Looking forward to flying over to see his first game, heard only the best feedback from him on your club.. Also- glad you traveled to our little country, not exactly the primary destination for tourists Could you compare him to any other players so we know what we are signing? Is he a more physical defender or tactical? So who are we comparing him to? i truly believe PL is exactly what he was born for, great physical player but also has his "brazilian blood" in terms of good technical skills, passing abilities etc.. And btw it would be worth to try him also as a defensive midfielder..

You English is excellent - have you lived or worked outside Slovakia in the past - or are your schools simply better at teaching languages than ours are? I would happily check it out.. yes, both lived and worked. I guess when your native language is slovak, which obviously is not really used around the world , then the schools better be good at teaching some of the major foreign languages;)

he got the citizenship only in summer last year, immediately after that he was called up to the slovakian u-21 national team. back in the times when he was on those trials, none of the transfers happened exactly because of the work permit issue - he simply could not get one with brazilian passport only I'm guessing you're from Slovakia yourself sopendal? Wife and me were in Kosice just before Xmas, loved it there. Was it not because of work permit issues that he never went to those teams? Maybe a year on loan to a championship club will be good for him. He has played for Slovakia so he must have citizenship now, weather he had it back then i don't know. he got the citizenship only in summer last year, immediately after that he was called up to the slovakian u-21 national team. back in the times when he was on those trials, none of the transfers happened exactly because of the work permit issue - he simply could not get one with brazilian passport only
