Personally I'm not disappointed because i had a funny feeling at 2-0 at half time that we weren't going to command the play in the second half, that it would be a 'watch through your fingers' 45 minutes, as is the case every time we take the lead. In fact, i was pleasantly surprised that this wasn't the case after the first goal at 17 minutes, so seems we are progressing

but the players, at the very least, had built up a bit of credit with us to avoid that hadn't they? Not enitrely sure the boos were aimed at the players Momo, I overheard some smokers at half time who said they were going to boo Scholes at the end because they didn't get a pass out at half time! Not me Paul. When I realised what a fiasco the whole thing was I smoked on the nice warm concourse. Cheers Tone.

We didn't sit back which was impressive. Wolves played really well and we couldn't muster a response. I read somewhere else on here that maybe Lawrence should have come on at half time and I'd go with that. The last 3 minutes of the first half showed where the game was heading and that Wolves fancied it.

There are a fair few thousand of us who have been served a steady dish of bitter disappointment for over a quarter of a century and arguably more. MarkWolstanton You are obviously as thick as two short planks (and you call yourself the Wisemaster : . Over 25 years of watching Stoke City, the vast majority of which has been disappointing. Don't lecture other fans on how they should or should not be feeling. Two of the wrist slashers main representatives - should we be surprised - no! Can't take the disappointment of a home draw and 9th in the Prem - I'm sobbing for you Highlighted on another thread - our crowd were the teams 12th man last season. Sadly we are losing our 'best crowd' title though you probably don't understand it's significance

Please find me the thread where I have moaned at the result.
Anyone who isn't disappointed at throwing away a 2-0 lead to one of the divisions rubbing rags is a complete tool. Especially given Stoke are 9th (something which is and should be trumpeted) have a tremendous home record and spent £40million on players. The majority of fans expected a win and are disappointed with a draw.

Pugsley £40 million i didn't know that youve not mentioned that before. ;D ;D ;D ;D It's important and well worth repeating. I remember when a bid came in for one of our players over £3.50 then he would be on his way. Now £40million is conveniently forgotten.

To be fair, from where I was sat, the players got a fairly decent round of applause at the end of the game.
Granted many of us were very disappointed but they still got a decent ovation as they approached the supporters. I don't think a few boo's will affect them too much.
The premier league will inevitably bring about this though and in a couple more years, atmosphere at our home games will be a distant memory.
I have a mate who has had a season ticket for the 2nd time this year and he was moaning about the WHU game being shit as well as the Sunderland game. He has no idea what shit really is and expects us to play like the Manure team he used to support from his arm chair.
No doubt there are several thousand more of his type in the crowd these days. I even know of a Liverpool fan who hasn't missed a Stoke home match for over a season now.

You can't say 'weak fans' i was grumbling after the final whistle but definately doesn't make me a weak fan after i spend the money to travel home and away i have a right to grumble when i feel the players and manager are not doing as good as they should

Yeah like getting dicked by Bristol Rovers 4 - 1 at home that is what I call shit and thus thoroughly deserves the team being booed.... 2 -2 draw at home to Wolves to take us 9th in the prem does not warrant boo's

Paul (Wise Master),
Just to back up the overwhelming evidence that suggests you should change your username to Thick Master, your reading of a post I made suggesting the booing and crying about the bit of a brief blow by the supporters is over the top is..
"Can't take the disappointment of a home draw and 9th in the Prem - I'm sobbing for you "
You then call me wrist slasher!
Show me where I have not been able to handle the home draw and have cried about it or I demand you change your username to something more appropriate as suggested.
Im giving you the rest of the evening to prove you have a point or you really cant understand what you read or Im going to do it for you ;D

If Wolves play like that every week they wont go down, there are worse teams in the prem. Let's move on.......
