Tuncay has played a total of about an hour (?) of league football for us, he could still be a quality player for us, you can't judge him on scant 8-10 minute bi-weekly cameo appearances .

I'd give Collins and Shitehead a miss but Tuncay and two fullbacks would be great.

Have not signed tuncay, collins and whitehead to buy one quality player ? I'd have swapped Whitehead and Collins for a decent centre mid but does anybody know if that option was available? I'm not sure it was and if TP could have persuaded a real quality central midfielder to come i'm sure he would have done. We're still small fish in a big pond as far as attracting players is concerned and i'd imagine one just didn't drop for us, the same with the full backs. A good start on the back of a fantastic last season will ever increase our stock though and by the start of next season if we can keep this going, we'll be even more attractive and i'm sure we'll see one or two more quality players. Why doesn't everyone just relax a bit and enjoy where we are and the direction we are moving in? I know i am. Slowly, slowly, catchy monkey.

Whitehead was a panic buy. But like Beardy says, we don't know if we could've got one. We have a class player in Tuncay anyhow.

March - you are like a stuck record. When he came on at Spurs he and Ricci linked up well an Tuncay gave us space and an extra dimension
Ric will have a missing game soon re yellows - as Kits looks gone re plans, do you honestly think Mama and Beatts will be the answer?

No, I don't, but I can't see how Tuncay is the answer either. He has been poor in all of the fleeting glimpses we have seen of him at the Brit. He played well with Fuller last week, but BT and Mama also look better with Ric. However we look at our forward line, it looks very bare without Ric.!!! Just as it took some people a long time last season to hear any criticism against Kitson, we are going through a similar situation with Tuncay this time round. I hope he gets a run of games somewhere in the team to finalise this discussion once and for all.

He hasnt been given a run and yet when he has come on he hasnt shown owt cept 2nd half Blackpool and Spurs - so actually we are none the wiser at present Also agree without Ric (again) we aint good - but when Ric is out I hope Tuncay steps up otherwise we may be in a bit of a mess. Beatts and Mama (which would appear our only other option) would appear one dimensional and without a full on Matty and Liam to support a tad worrying

My frustration over Tuncay is largely down to my own disappointment that we have signed a player with a world wide reputation and he has had such a small impact. Who is to blame for his lack of impact is where different people disagree with me I think. A goal next week leading to 3 points should help to put things on an even keel.

You could argue at present that we havent moved on at all EXCEPT in belief (which shoulndt be underestimated) and Shawcross development Tuncay - should be an addition but so far Whitehead - sort of get what he does but no more wow than what we had - see Salif Collins - I actually like him and he passes ok sometimes, but square peg etc Huth - awesome, but square peg in a chipped round hole Aris - one for future or not - who really knows That is a lot of money for little impact accept stronger bench
