Glad he's started Tonge rather than Soares on the left and really pleased he's gong with Tuncs and Kits up front rather than Mama and Kits.

No complaints about that. Easily strong enough to see off the side Portsmouth have put out.
Watch Tuncay go for it.

Also a sign that Lawrence won't be starting on Saturday and Delap will be on the right again, which is disappointing. No Tuncay, Whelan, Higginbotham or Kitson either.

Yeah I mentioned that earlier in the thread MD. I'm not particularly bothered about Tuncs, Higgy or Kits starting against Wolves, however Lenny (and possibly Whelan) doesn't make sense to me.

Good side that! Great even . Only worry is the lack of impact sub, unless sidibe can be classed as that

I wouldnt leap to any conclusions like that. I imagine there are a handful of players there who have the opportunity to play their way into contention. Having said that, who would you really leave out of the side on Sayurdays performance? It woulld be a harsh call.

Interesting comments from Acres there, saying that Tuncay HAS been speaking to his agent about wanting to get a move in January.

Interesting comments from Acres there, saying that Tuncay HAS been speaking to his agent about wanting to get a move in January. Pinch of salt time. I was having a chat to a football agent down at the training ground a couple of weeks ago when Acres rang him to try and verify a similar story. In fact it was the same story. After the phone call the agent laughed and said Acres was short on stories due to no transfer activity and people were inclined to agree with anything he suggested for the hell of it or get rid of him, ;D

Lawrence is the better option on the right, I'd rather see him there. I'd possibly put him in the middle in place of Whitehead.

happy with that team, more football for arismendi, would love see this lad show us something, that team should have enough quality to see of that pompey side.

Lenny should be nailed on, on the right for me at home against Wolves, and then any two from three of Rory, Salif and Glenn (not bothered which) in the middle IMHO.

I like Picionne (sp) from what I've seen of him. Cross from the left from Belhadj-Griff got raped by him last time we played at Fratton Park.
