TP talking about Ricardo Fuller: “But he’s a special player who can do what the top players do. He can pull a genie out of the bag and has done that here. Glenn has finished it with aplomb.”Come on Tone, I know that was your bestest result as a Stoke manager, but don't start going all Vale on us.

I prefer it when Rick plucks a rabbit from a bottle.

I prefer it when Rick plucks a rabbit from a bottle. . . . . or a genie out of a hat as Talksports H&J reminded us on their lunchtime show.

Or a mouse out of a clowns pocket?
H
And before anyone starts, I'm not calling Pulis a clown or Fuller a mouse.

On a slightly different note, I just wonder if Peter Reid's influence is having an effect, we havn't faired to bad at all since he joined? Just a thought...

I think Reid was a great aquisition for the club as he seems a top bloke and one who would be well liked by the players and a great motivator. Not a great manager but i think perfect as a number 2.

Maybe he'll help sign some players from Canadia.

We shouldn't be too hard on the ex-dodger. Rudgey has spent many an hour improving his professional development by going on numerous courses:
Trentham Park, Keele, Wychwood Park, Malkins Bank and Wolstanton are just a few of these.
