Several of us travel from stafford on the 12.25 train for home matches.
It suits us not to drive as we can meet local stokies in Stoke town centre and have a few bevies.
It surprises me more Stafford Stokies dont use this option.
No driving,few bevies,not stuck on car parks.

I catch the 101 to castle and have a few in the golden lion. Then catch the bus from castle bus station to the ground and return. Couple more in castle then the 101 back to stafford. When I aint workin Sat night that is then it's a drive.  Next sat on the train could be a nightmare. |

There's about 8 of us who catch the 13.25 from Stafford, the only drawback being the train home isn't until 17.54 so a long time to wait around. Still think with the amount of Stoke fans in Stafford it's got to be viable to have a supporters coach go to the games, just need someone to volunteer to arrange it!!! |

Bloody hell ive never seen that train,always drinking happily in the Last orders and get the 18.58 i think it is back.
Come and join us one week on the 12.25.
Although im having a lift back this weekend due to a wedding reception

My old man drives and parks near the roundabout by the BMW garage. Once we get into the car after the game we are back in the pub in Stafford within 25 mins. Before the game we go to the Gardners. If I am heading up on my won I tend to catch the 101 and get off at Trent Vale and then walk to the Gardners from there.
