Because I'm a sad bastard, I have been having a look through some old programmes in the past few days. I came across this from Bournemouth's Coca-Cola Cup tie with Cardiff...
"The close season has seen plenty of activity here at Dean Court. Immediately following our last home game the team embarked on a 2 week tour of Uganda. The trip obviously involved much travelling by air and road, but I was delighted with the commitment shown by the players....
I have also been working hard during this time to try and bring new players to the Club....
Cheers, TONY PULIS"
Made me chuckle anyway ;D
Also, Adrian Pennock and Mark O'Connor were in the Bournemouth side.

Why on earth have you got a programme from a Bournemouth vs Cardiff Coca Cola Cup match?

Funnily enough I was speaking to a Gills fan in Barcelona last week. He was telling me how much he missed the days when Pulis was in charge simply because he you knew what you got with Pulis no ifs or buts simple hard working tough teams who would fight tooth and nail for a result. I just said how is life back where you belong...he seemed a little gutted at that.
