I went to Willenhall v Kidsgrove tonight. Ryan Shotton's brother Liam was upfront for 'Grove and had already bagged himself a first-half brace.
With twenty minutes left, he was brought down by the keeper who was sent off. Shotton stepped up and was made to wait by the referee (for a bloody long time) and then did this...
(Some great speech from the local support is overheard)
It finished 3-0 to 'Grove.

I very almost went too last night as a mate of mine plays for The 'Grove, number 8 by the looks of that video. Was the game any good? Is your mate Sam Hall? If it is, he had a very tidy game and was receiving plenty of praise from the gaffer. Willenhall are in administration and currently lie bottom of the table (due to being docked ten points). As a result, it was a relative walk in the park for 'Grove but still entertaining. There were more away supporters than home, and a hardy group of about 10 fans were singing Kidsgrove songs which I was very impressed with. Shotton's first was a howler by the keeper and he then swept home the second. Matt Haddrell got the third on the stroke of half time with a bullet strike into the bottom corner with his left foot. Kidsgrove also had Robin Gibson (formerly of Stafford) in their line up, who steadied things in midfield. The most incredible moment of the night though, came when a member of Kidsgrove's staff (I think it was the assistant but not too sure) was told repeatedly by the linesman to sit on the bench. In the lino's words "You're 2-0 up, just enjoy it". He duly did as he was told, but got rather excited at one moment and leapt up, smashing his head on the dugout in the process. Blood was pouring from his head in a scene similar to Terry Butcher all those years ago. Rather dazed and confused, he started to have a go at the linesman and had to be restrained by his fellow staff. After slightly composing himself, he was whisked off to hospital (due to Willenhall being in admin there were no medics there) where he was supplied with some stitches for his troubles. It was very bizarre!!

Be a decent move for him. I've seen him a couple of times and he looks a useful player. The problem at Kidsgrove (even without falling out with the manager) is there are some bloody good strikers there.

Matt Haddrell, did he used to play for Leek Town? I used to go and watch a few matches when Adam Yates (now with the Vale) played for them and I recognised that name for some reason.

Yeah, Haddrell was at Leek. He also played in the league for Macclesfield (who paid £35K for him).

I'm trying to do quite a few of the local non-league grounds and Willenhall is only half an hour down the road. My cousin used to play for 'Grove so it seemed like a good match to go to. A fine avatar by the way.

Knowles did the Kidsgrove assisstant have a big nose and teardrops tattooed on his face??? If so it was Kenny Scragg Manager of Blue Mugge, incidentally for whom half of the Kidsgrove team play for on a sunday. He is a fuckin loon who cant help but try and get himself to the centre of attention. There are rumours that the 'Mugge' players are getting more playing on a sunday than they are getting on a saturday....but lets not go there, eh???

Hmmm, I didn't notice anyone with teardrops tattooed on their face (I'm sure I wouldn't have missed it!). Two games in two days sounds like hard work...that's why they're not in the Prem
