Will he be there with his family? Should be a healthy attendance boost if so

He has been out in the States with the Aztex for weeks James.
A bit of old news there.
Im pretty sure he has already signed a deal with them.
Gifton would find the colder autumn weather a bit of an issue I imagine ;D

Unless the lad has improved greatly since I saw him, it doesn't say much for the level of 'soccer' played by the Aztecs.

Unless the lad has improved greatly since I saw him, it doesn't say much for the level of 'soccer' played by the Aztecs. Salif was signed to a contract (2 years I believe) towards the end of our season (runs March - September), so he didn't really get a chance to play after getting all of the immigration paperwork done. We saw him for a short while on October 7th against Monterrey (Mexican Premier side), but didn't really impress. We've had some great backline folks, specifically David Horst who was a loan from MLS (Houston Dynamo). As far as the level, it's no where near the Prem. Not by a long shot. However, in a country that still calls it "soccer", it's better than nothing. The quality of the USL is getting better yearly, as we're consistently going further than MLS teams in our version of the Champions League, and consistently beating teams from other Premier leagues (i.e. Mexico). We were hoping to test ourselves against some Stoke senior players, but alas, it wasn't to be. Hopefully, the scheduling will work out better next year so this can happen. If it's in Austin, come on out and we'll show you around. Oh, and it's spelled A-Z-T-E-X.
