To tell you the truth, I bloody hate these blank weekends. Not only that but I don't even give a toss about Ingerlund. All I care about is how Stoke get on. Anybody else feel the same? It's club over country every time for me.

I used to follow England all over, but since we have been in the premiership i must say i dont give a toss about them. I think playing aginst Chelsea Terry, Lampard, A Cole the other week made me dislike them even more. Leave England for small clubs like Vale and Crewe :-)

No I am absolutely not busy at this point in my life. It's great!! Doesn't offend me I just think it's a tired old subject. But as you aksed I consider myself to be a very passionate England supporter. From now until the end of the season I'll watch every potential England player and the first thing in my head will be how they would be in a World Cup situation. And from the midddle of April onwards each time certain players go down injured I immediately get anxious. I was watching in the pub when Rooney broke his bone last time and felt as if the world had fallen through my arse.

Maybe it's living in Oz that makes you feel that way surrounded by Pommie-bashing Aussies!
Personally couldn't give a flying feck about Ingerlund. In fact put off by all the knobrots who creep out of the woodwork every time we're in a major championship.

I assure you it isn't. It's nothing to do with that. By the way, what do you mean knobrots when we are in a tournament? Who are they then, the knobrots? To whom do you refer?

Yawn......Joe's right its the same old thread when an England game looms. I have no idea why you have to choose between the two. In fact it will be a proud day for me when a Stoke player pulls on the England shirt and wins a full cap...lets hope Ryan makes it before he leaves us. Being exiled now around the world for nearly 15 years doesn't dampen my support of my country.

Stoke for me ! To the majority of Stokies who are English, why should you choose between clubb and country ? I support 3 football teams and only ever will: Stoke, Inverness and Scotland. I shouldn't have to choose.

I dont see these often like you lot so i'll give my 2 pence worth.
I don't have a fraction of the passion and love for England that I have for Stoke, I just cant get exited about it.
Like taking home a bird thats "a bit iffy", you know you have do it, but when she starts taking her clothes off you know its doing to be a hard time getting excited about it.
I don't dislike England I wouldnt go out of my way to watch a match unless a mate ring up with a spot on the sofa and beer in the fridge.

Clearly if you think having a Sikh prime minister should discourage people from supporting thier national football team then you have a few issues. Straight out of the primordial soup this one.

Hey rottweiler, if this is annoying you Ukyestony's got to start his thread soon! ;D You're not suggesting that Tony's threads on the subject are a bit predictable, are you? I hate these Threads there on here every time England play a Match you lot need to wind your neck in you cant choose England over Stoke either Stoke over England Exactly. It's not a choice anyone has to make. It's madness! Sorry to disturb your repose Mr Rottweiler. ;D I've been 'away for a bit'. Pentonville as it happens. But actually what I meant to ask was:'Does anybody give a toss about England'? I lose my usual articulacy when harassed about the same subject persistently. Honestly! And in answer to your question I give a shit about England. Just not so much this weekend as it doesn't matter...
