You are kidding aren't you! Don't sell 10 you will regret it when you buy the wankery of pro evo. you keep calling it wank without a decent argument backing it up, you havent played pro evo, who knows, it MAY be wank, (it wont be) but the fact you havent played it yet and you give no real argument renders yours opinion nill and void.

all i know is, on this years pro evo ( from the demo), to dribble through a team and score, even with ronaldo or messi, you would still have to be one of the best pro evo players in the world, (like in real football)
the same with lobbing a keeper from 40 yards who is standing on his 6 yard line, its unlikely you will be able to do that more then once in the games 1 year life cycle.

Only keeps up with him if you run right at him and allow him to start tussling and vying for possession, once thats happened, hold the left trigger to slow it down and turn away from the defender usually going out wide a bit more with it, then the defender will overtake and with a player as quick as Ronaldo you can easily cut-in.

I played on PES2009 earlier and it's complete and utter horseshit. Comes nowhere the 2010 demo which, for the 7millionth time is only 70% OF THE COMPLETE GAME That for me shows an enormous improvement. If a 70% build performs way better, and with what's been reported from people playing the 90% build (Review Code) and WE2010, it looks like a bright picture. I slated the demo after a few goes of it initially but then you begin to master it a bit and I haven't scored any two goals which are the same in the near hundred times I've played that demo I played FIFA10, full game not the demo, at a mates house earlier as well. I don't really get what's different gameplay wise from 09. Some people say shooting is harder but I didn't find that but then again, what could they have done drastically to improve 09? Not a lot at all and I feel that's going to be FIFA10s downfall. The amount of hype around it only for people to find that it's just 09 updated.. for me it is anyways

I'd say EA have made quite a few subtle changes to fifa10 but kept the basis of 09 because that was so good and popular so i don't see why they'd make any dramatic changes to the gameplay.
I see it as more of a tuned up to the max version of 09 with every aspect of the gameplay being tweaked to make it that much better and iron out any issues. I played on the pes2010 demo and i do think it's pretty good in comparison with previous ones i've played, but i still find fifa more enjoyable.
And i think all that about dribbling through the entire team is completley dependant on who your playing against, I've got Fifa10 and i haven't yet takin on half a team and scored from 40 yards, sayin that i always play with stoke online and it's usualy against manure or madrid. I find it very realistic especially if your playing someone at your standard because the games tend to be very close.

FIFA 10 is shite compared to 09 and i'm not a FIFA fan.
I played on 09 a few weeks and thought it was excellent, played on 10 a few times now and it just isn't the same.
I do think Pro will be a hell of a lot better this year and I think FIFA have let themselves down a bit with 10 this year and this might give Pro a chance to challenge them again.

I think fifa is a polished version of 09, its not the leap that 09 was to 08.
I personally love it ;D.

There wasn't much they could do, but now when you hold the left trigger, players actually try to make themselves 'bigger' and to cut off the player coming at them a hell of a lot better than they did on 09. Ronaldo won't dribble through your defence holding off Faye on one side and Huth on the other as though they're schoolchildren.
The improvements are subtle, deflections and the general physics of the game are much better and now if you run head first into another player it'll be a freekick rather than carrying on like last year. Add to that, the other differences like being able to dribble at speed much more freely. Even the passing is a hell of a lot better, now chipped through balls and lofted passes are weighted much better by world class players, and the midfielders at accrington stanlty won't be playing them to the same standard in almost any circumstance.
As for PES, I played the demo and I'll admit I did only play 3 - 4 games but couldn't stand it. Quite frankly, the one thing I want from a demo that will get me to commit to buying a game is at least finding the demo enjoyable in some regards. PES still has very wooden movements, and very limited dribbling - that and the goalkeepers are absolutely terrible in my experience on the demo.
Diagonal shot across the keeper - goal. In the 4 games I played, shot across the keeper 6/7 times and scored them all, which is a shame as last year I thought the one area where PES was better was with keepers in how they reacted - even though their movements were terrible as well.

The thing with the keepers santy I think is because its the 70% build. I read somewhere that its been fixed for the final game. I do also find movements on pes so wooden though.
Thats the biggest thing Ive found in fifa, the player and ball physics are brilliant.

I've had problems with the game that I've said on another thread, I think as soon as EA sort out their shitty servers it will be ok, the game shouldn't of been released how it was though, they should of done a beta test on everything live before selling the game.
Hope Microsoft gives them a good bumming for it as well.
