It's a simple tactic to divert people away from the fact that he played a under-strength team and got fucked because of it.
He does it all the time.

They were bloody lucky to have got the draw. A soft sending off helped them no end, but Fergie doesn't mention that! Man Utd are not the team they were last year, and are fortunate to be sitting on the top of the table imho, they have had their fair share of luck so far. Makes our insipid 'performance' against them even harder to take.

he really is unbelievable. Read what he says and try and understand it. You will be amazed to find that he is speaking the truth about the game. Wiley is a poor referee, IS unfit, Man Utd played very badly, especially in the first half.

And some people say he is the greatest manager! FFS What a ferkin sour bitter ungracious piece of crap he is! Him and ManUre deserve each other.

"Our passing was very poor in the first half. In the end we needed to show some great qualities to get something out of the game on a day when we played really badly."
Covering up? He admits his team played really badly.

You don't have to be gracious, honest or a gentleman to be a good manager. Obviously it's preferable to have a manager who is all all of those things, a la Bobby Robson, Bob (not Ian. Absolutely, definitely not Ian. I can't stress that enough) Paisley or Alf Ramsay, but for the most part You just have to have a winning mentality. Ferguson is in the top 10 managers in English football history, classless twat thoug he undoubtedly is.

As I've said in my post I went to the game today, When your watching it as a semi neutral I can't believe how many free kicks, that weren't free kicks were given.
It seemed whenever a Man utd player went into a challenge if he dropped to the floor the crowd and players expected a free kick, which undoubtedly the ref obliged. This is a cancer spreading through the game that needs to be cut out asap.

It's a problem that Alex Ferguson is allowed to get away with things because of his status so he now knows he can say or do pretty much whatever he likes without any comeback.
I'd like to see MOTD every week include something like "... and that how the Sunderland boss saw it. We asked Manchester United but Alex Ferguson is still sulking over the Panorama investigation that revealed his nepotistic transfer dealings and won't talk to us"

Since when did refs automatically add on time for every goal scored? Oh yes. Since Fergie's tame ref had to try and explain why he played until Owen scored in the Manchester Derby. The problem of course is that the entire football world is scared of Fergie. He gets away with things that no one else would. They know it and unfortunately he knows it too. Of course Wiley is a poor referee. He had the temerity to allow Sunderland's 2nd goal, when all the Fergie approved referees would have found a reason to disallow it.

I love this quote from that article..... "I was disappointed with the referee," said Ferguson. "He didn't add on any time for the goal. He played four minutes and two seconds. Which goals as that alex, the 104th minute injury time winner???

He commented on foreign refs being fit. He wants to make is mind up. Does he want 'fit' refs or fair refs. If he gets refs that are both, Manure could look forward to droping ten of fifteen more points in a season, because fair refs would see the game as it is, and not according to Manures rules.
