Just think about this, they will travel to the Brit from all the place and stare in utter disbelief at the passion and noise of a unified crowd of Stoke City Football Club fans. How they must wish that their 75,000 could all pull together and get a proper atmoshere, but they cant because they are from all over the place and will not unify. Can you imagine if our stadium had a capacity of 75.000 and we could fill it? We must not take for granted this passion and belief we have, and have always had. They will be VERY VERY JEALOUS tomorrow and we will be VERY VERY PROUD of Stoke City Football Club

I went to Old Trafford last season with some friends and was lucky enough to go corporate. We sat in with united fans. The way they were talking about stoke boiled my blood. They were total and utter arrogant cunts. Saying we would not last and go down with a whimper etc. I even heard on the of the cunts say:
"Weve never had a player that can cross a ball at United" Ended up falling out at the end as the guy directly behind us spent the entire match on the wind and then offered the hand after. Told him to fuck off. I would not mind but he was just being an arse. Bunch of total wankers and they will still be smug as fuck tomorrow. You wont hear them unless they score.

A stoke born and bred gloryhunter informed me I was just jealous of their success because I supported a shit team like Stoke.
Yeah, thats it. Obviously.

Fuck em, they've made their choice. They'll have to be ridiculed for life.......or until Chelsea win the League anyway and they can change shirts

Thing is, (if) stoke ever become successful, and they start pulling crowds, the atmosphere would decrease loads. Look the higher up the division you go the worse it gets.
However, You will see tommorow that the away fans couldnt be more different from the home fans. Plus with unfashionable away (Not london) like stoke a plenty of good lads will be there.

I detest the lot of their glory hunters. It might be a tiny little thing, but on principle I have never employed any glory hunter from any of the so called big 4. I always engage potential candidates in friendly conversation before the interview to find out who they support. If I was ever taken to tribunal, my defence would be that I don't want to employ someone who is untrustworthy, has bad judgment, is inadequate and is a detestable human being. I don't employ men with long hair either

I agree with the glory hunters statement BUT we were getting a 15/16 thousand average in the championship and now getting 27,500. where were the extra fans before?

You do know that ANY team who play ManUre, even if their atmos is crap, will generate an awesome one against them and they'll be used to that so we'll be surprising no one.
It's against the Sunderland's,Wigan's,Wolves' of the prem where the real plaudits will be won .
And after 23 years without decent level football - what do you expect? People have lives outside of football and paying 20 odd quid for Blackpool, QPR etc is stupid and i understand it totally. Can't blame people coming to every prem game because we are in the media spotlight and everyone wants to see us around Stoke, football fans or not.

Now I quite like Man Utd as a footballing team but agree with sentiments about their fans. This little discussion yesterday between me, a special needs student and his TA at a school where I work in Plymouth made me chuckle: Student: Hello sir which team do you support? Me: Stoke City. Who do you support Jordan? Student: Man Utd of course. TA: OOOO thats who I support as well Jordan. Me: Do you pair get to Old Trafford often then. TA and Student: Never been there but watch Man Utd on telly. Student: Why don't you support Man Utd sir? Me: Because I supported SCFC as a young lad and watched most home games until I left Stoke to join the navy. Me: Why do you support Man Utd? Student: Because they are awsome sir. Me: How do you think they will get on tomorrow then Jordan? Student: Who are they playing sir?
Enough said really I shook my head and headed off to the staff room for coffee. ?

Is he a special needs student purely because he supports ManU or does he have other problems as well?

i won't associate with any of the glory hunting bastards at work*, and any newbies get asked pretty sharpish who they support.
*except for one who has a season ticket at Liverpool, is from there and knows his football. I find the 2 or 3 Villa fans at work to be the worst for some reason. Very arrogant and quite nasty.
