cheers first I've heard of it.
well that leaves the reserves very short on numbers at the back now ... great news, he'll have to play first team players in the league cup

Not really Dave - defenders in the squad are still relatively numerous: Wilkinson, Shawcross, Faye, Huth, Higginbotham, Collins, Cort, Griffin. There's two decent enough back 4s there, which have separately played in the last two games, without even mentioning Danny Pugh can play left back and Rory, in emergencies, can do a job on the right.
Not sure if Dicko will ever make it at Stoke now - he has two left backs, and Huth, ahead of him, and, at 22, he needs first team football. Shotton, I think, has potential and may move on to becoming a bench option next season.

Very good move for them both. Dicko's easiy good enough for the Championship, which is why I was worried when he said he wanted to go to Leeds, and it'll be great experience for Shotton, who looks like becomming a very good player. Official confirmation coming tomorrow I expect.

Good move for the pair. They've got a cracking pair of full backs there IMHO. I really hope Dicko makes it at Stoke but have a fear that he'll get shipped out as we're pretty steady at left back now. Shotts on the other hand look quality against Derby and caould defnately doa job in the Championship.

It'll certainly be interesting to see how Shotton fairs in the CCC good luck to both.
