www.premierleague.com/staticFiles/f4/20/0,,12306~139508,00.pdf Thias is the football handbook thats given to all premier league clubs att he start of each season... Admittedly its from last season but is the same each year with only the relegated and promoted teams changing. A FASCINATING reading and Hughes hasnt got a leg to stand on with regards to his time added on whinge!!! If you get a spare couple of hours a real good read...

on Radio 5 last night Mark Bowen said he had never heard of refs adding time on for goal celeberations
assuming he wasnt lying that is displaying an astonishing level of ignorance for anyone connected to a proffesional football club.

I'm with Man City.
It is quite clear that referees are VERY random in what they do and don't add on in a game. If all of the second half goal celebrations, substitutions and other stoppages were correctly added together on Sunday the original injury time would have been waaaaaaaaaaaaay over four minutes.
So why not add that on but then start counting to the exact second the time in injury time?
The only way around this is to have the off-field timekeepers who stop the clock EVERY time there is a stoppage of any sort. It would utterly eradicate time-wasting and controversy in one go!

Agreed Smudge ! Referee's can do whatever they please as they are the ones in charge of a game when push comes to shove. There's not much point in moaning, they won't change the result, instead it just makes people more aware that referee's will constantly side with Manure at any level.
